STOREKEEPER – JOB ADVERTISEMENT

Mpala is located on the Laikipia plateau in North Central Kenya, just north of the Equator and
Northwest of Mt. Kenya. This vast area spans 48,000 acres, comprising captivating savannah and
dry woodland habitats, and it is gracefully bordered by the Ewaso Ngiro and Ewaso Narok river. We
are currently in search of a competent, highly skilled and professional individual to urgently take on
the role of a storekeeper.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced storekeeper to join our team. The key skill of a storekeeper is inventory
management. This involves the ability to accurately track stock levels, organize merchandise efficiently,
monitor inventory turnover and ensure timely replenishment of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

 Managing inventory
 Organizing and Maintaining stock.
 Receiving and Dispatching goods.
 Ensuring smooth operations of the store.
 Maintaining an automated supply inventory database.
 Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system
records.
 Keep accurate records of stock movement and maintain a clean organized store.
 Receive, inspects and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
 Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

 Good communication and interpersonal skills.


 2 years' experience in a similar role
 Diploma in supply chain management or any related field in a recognized institution.
 Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Basic computer knowledge (writing emails, processing EXCEL files) and willingness to
learn.
