The measurement principle
Expansion thermometer, massive glass thermometers with optically increased display, in order to achieve
a good readability.
Measuring technique
Massive glass thermometers are embedded in the centre the two inclining side pieces, and secured from
vibrations to a very large extent with rubber pads.
The reaction velocity is increased by the fact that between the glass thermometer and the internal wall of
the temperature sensor a copper braided hose is arranged.
With the installation a heat conducting paste is useful.
Temperature measuring points should be free of vibrations.
Case sizes:
110 x 36, 150 x 36 and 200 x 36 mm.
Solid cases:
Brass- or silver- coloured
Inscription:
To a very large extent scratch proof and resistant to corrosive atmosphere.
Measuring liquid:
-60 + 40°C, red Toluol filling, white backed
-30 +200°C, blue special filling, white backed
over +300°C, mercury filling, yellow backed
or mercury filling blue shining patent capillaries (particularly clearly readable).
Division:
°C standard, °F or double scale °C and °F available
Threaded sockets:
Standard temperatures up to 300°C brass, over 300°C steel
on request stainless steel 1.4571
Protective pipes:
Execution according to DIN 43772 or Armatherm data sheets for protective pipes, special materials
are available e.g. Hastelloy, Inconel, Titan, special brass surface coatings are possible.
