Job Purpose, Responsibilities & Complexities

Objective/Purpose of the Job Role:

The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing all inventory movements, ensuring efficient storage, tracking materials and
supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock inflow and outflow. The role ensures that materials are properly received,
stored, and distributed in a timely and organized manner, supporting operational efficiency.
Role Complexity:

The role requires medium to high mental and physical effort, as it involves tracking inventory, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping,
and handling logistics for incoming and outgoing materials. The role holder must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming goods and materials.
• Maintain an accurate record of all stock movements (inflows and outflows) in the inventory management system.
• Organize and store materials systematically to ensure easy accessibility and minimize losses.
• Monitor stock levels and provide timely reports to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Issue materials and supplies based on approved requisitions and track their usage.
• Coordinate logistics for transportation and distribution of materials to designated locations.
• Ensure proper documentation of all transactions, including delivery notes, waybills, and receipts.
• Conduct routine stock checks and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with suppliers, transporters, and relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area.
• Report any damages, discrepancies, or losses immediately to the Store/Logistics Head.
• Assist in procurement planning by providing data on stock usage trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards in store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store/Logistics Head.

Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirement

Educational / Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain • 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, logistics,
