INTRODUCTION :-
In today’s dynamic and competitive
business landscape, it is important to pay
importance to every aspect of the
organizational framework, - employees
being the most important ones because
ultimately they are the sole breadwinners of
an organization. This requires continuous
motivation and performance improvement.
Many factors play pivotal role in this. One of
them being the leaders and their leadership
styles. Leaders play a vital role in shaping
organisational culture, setting goals and
providing direction to their teams. They are
faced with various challenges such as
increasing employee engagement ,
retention and increasing organisational
effectiveness. Their leadership styles
significantly influence the
attitudes,behaviors and productivity levels
of the employees. There are many
leadership styles that they can adopt. Some
of them being, transactional,
transformational, charismatic, democratic,
autocratic and laissez-faire.
Therefore, understanding the impact of
different leadership styles on employee
motivation and performance is essential for
organizations striving to achieve sustainable
success.

IMPORTANCE OF THIS
RESEARCH :-

more likely to attract top talent and
retain valuable employees. Insights

organizations to revise their
recruitment strategies and showcase

objective involves thoroughly
researching and understanding
various leadership theories and
models to identify commonly
recognized leadership styles.
2. ANALYZE THE IMPACT OF
EACH LEADERSHIP STYLE ON
EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION
LEVELS:- This objective focuses
on examining how different
leadership styles affect employee
motivation. For example,
transformational leaders may
inspire and empower employees
through vision setting and
encouragement leading to higher
levels of intrinsic motivation.
3. CHECKING EMPLOYEE
HAPPINESS LEVELS :- By
conducting this survey we can
figure out if the way leaders lead
makes employees happy or not.
4. CHECK FOR IMPROVEMENT IN
EMPLOYEES PERFORMANCE:-
The purpose here is to find out if
the way leaders lead affects how
employees do their job.
5. ADVICE TO LEADERS:- Through
the conduction of this survey, we
can tell leaders what they can do
better to make employees
happier and do better work.
6. ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE
AND CLIMATE:- This survey will
help in understanding how
leadership styles contribute to
the overall culture and climate
within the organization.
Leadership styles that prioritize
transparency, collaboration, and
employee development tend to
high performance and innovation.

METHODOLOGY:-
While explaining the research methods for
investigating the influence of leadership
styles on employee motivation and
performance, we can follow a variety of
approaches:-
1. SURVEYS:- Conducting surveys allows
for gathering quantitative data from a
large sample of employees. Questions
could focus on perceptions of
leadership styles, motivation levels,
and self-reported performance metrics.
We have used the methodology of
surveying and questionnaire to collect
insights on the given topic. This survey
has been conducted through google
forms. The survey has been conducted
for people who are students, working
professionals as well as retired
employees belonging to not only
corporate sector but other sectors too.
Leadership styles not only influence
corporates but also every sector of the
economy.

may be more effective depending on the organization's goals and culture. For
example, in a fast-paced, innovative startup, a transformational or charismatic
leadership style might be more suitable, whereas in a traditional, hierarchical
organization, a more autocratic or bureaucratic style may be preferred. 2.
**Employee Engagement:** Leadership styles that prioritize open communication,
collaboration, and empowerment tend to foster higher levels of employee
engagement. When employees feel valued, heard, and trusted, they are more
likely to be motivated to perform at their best.
