On April 24, 2025, Mariah appeared as a guest on Summer Walker’s podcast series, Over It Radio. She
reveals the concept behind her upcoming album using a “little green toy soldier.” This toy soldier
symbolizes a dedication to a cause such that an individual would be willing to die for. The “toy” aspect
also represents a feeling of being “small and not taken seriously.” Mariah uses this as a metaphor for
how men often disregard women’s effort.

On the cover art, Mariah wears an outfit resembling a toy soldier with a modern twist. She has a
military-style jacket and a bullet bandolier, pieces commonly associated with a toy soldier uniform. To
add personal stylistic flair, she pairs the top clothing with black bottoms and sheer tights. This outfit
visually reinforces the album’s concept, symbolizing herself as a toy soldier standing amongst a pedestal.

Three days before the song’s release, Mariah sent out a message through her mailing list, also known
