Autumn
by Do Hoang Bao Han
The autumn comes and goes,
But never really stays,
It dances on the golden breeze,
In half-forgotten days.

The leaves are turning red,

Their colours softly spread,
They flutter down from ancient trees,
To rest in quiet beds.

The harvest moon is bright,

A lantern in the night,
It bathes the fields in silver glow,
Then hides beyond our sight.

The crisp air smells of pine,

And cool winds intertwine,
They whisper secrets to the skies,
Of seasons’ slow decline.

The autumn's gentle song,

So fleeting, yet so strong,
It lingers in the heart like rain,
Then softly drifts along.

Still Autumn
by Do Hoang Bao Han
The autumn comes and goes,
But never really stays.
It whispers through the amber trees,
Then fades in golden haze.

The winds begin to hum,

Cool breezes softly drum.
The rustling leaves dance in the breeze,
Till all the world is numb.

The skies are painted grey,

The sun hides far away.
Yet fields of orange pumpkins glow,
A fleeting bright display.

The days grow crisp and lean,

The air is sharp, serene.
Apples ripen, cider brews warm,
As harvest crowns the scene.

And though the colours fade,

Their beauty is well made.
In autumn’s brief and gentle fall,
A quiet peace is laid.

Whispers of the
Earth
by Do Hoang Bao Han
A quiet stream does flow,
Through woods of endless green,
Its waters calm and slow,
Reflecting sky serene.

The breeze in branches sways,

It whispers through the trees,
A dance of leaves that plays,
Upon the gentle breeze.

The mountains stand so tall,

Their peaks kiss clouds above,
In valleys wide they call,
A song of earth and love.

The flowers bloom in rows,

Their colors bright and true,
Beneath the sun that glows,
And drinks the morning dew.

At night, the stars align,

They shimmer, pure and bright,

7
A cosmic dance divine,
That fills the quiet night.

Song of the
Forest
By Do Hoang Bao Han
The morning sun awakes,
Through golden beams, it shines,
A cool breeze gently breaks,
Dancing through ancient pines.

The rivers softly sing,

Their melodies untold,
While birds begin to cling,
To branches strong and bold.

A deer steps from the brush,

With grace, it starts to glide,
The forest breathes, so lush,
A hidden world inside.

The clouds drift through the sky,

Like ships on waves of blue,
Their shapes go floating by,
Till evening bids adieu.

8
As daylight fades to night,
The stars begin to gleam,
The forest finds its light,
In moon’s celestial beam.

The jungle light

By Do Hoang Bao Han
Morning dew shines so bright,
Through trees the soft winds blow,
The sun begins its flight,
As shadows dance below.

The stream hums as it bends,

Birds call from lofty height,
The forest sways and sends,
A whisper to the light.

Tall pines stand bold and still,

The ferns in shade arise,
A deer drinks by the hill,
Its gaze meets mine, surprised.

The clouds in silent drift,

A gentle breeze will call,
The branches gently lift,

9
And catch the leaves that fall.

At dusk the world is calm,

The night begins to creep,
The sky turns soft and warm,
And all the woods will sleep.
