TITLE :-
TITLE :- SOLAR MULTIPURPOSE SPRAYER FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
ABSTRACT :-
This paper presents the design and development of a solar-powered multipurpose
sprayer, aimed at providing a sustainable and efficient solution for various agricultural
spraying applications. The system integrates a photovoltaic panel to harness solar
energy, which powers a pump capable of delivering controlled liquid flow for tasks such
as pesticide application, fertilization, and irrigation. The multipurpose functionality is
achieved through interchangeable nozzle configurations and adjustable pressure
settings, allowing for targeted spraying across different crop types and growth stages.
This research details the system's components, including the solar energy harvesting and
storage mechanisms, the pumping and delivery system, and the user interface for
operation and control. Performance evaluation of the prototype demonstrates its
effectiveness in achieving desired spray patterns and flow rates while operating solely on
solar power, thus reducing reliance on fossil fuels and manual labor. The development of
this solar-powered multipurpose sprayer offers a cost-effective and environmentally
friendly alternative for enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting sustainable
farming practices, particularly in regions with abundant solar resources.
