Part 2: Tell me a painting or a photo that you like
My favourite picture is the picture about my family. We took it when I was 7. There are 5
people : my parents, 2 sisters and me. I see this picture on a regular basis when I remember my
family
Part 3:
A. I kept a painting for a long time. Tell me a thing that you have had for a long time.
I am very happy to talk to you. To be honest, family is very important to me and we take
photos once in a blue moon. Therefore, I have kept that picture for a long time.
B. I would like to learn painting, but I have not still found the effective way. Should I take a
course at my local college? Please, give me some advice.
I think the most important thing when you learn to draw is to take the painting course. With the
guidance of a teacher, you can learn their skills and their experiences to improve. Besides, when
you join a course, you can build relationships that improve your metal health.
C. Street art – where people paint on the building – are becoming popular. However, some
people criticize that it is bad. What is your opinion?
I see eye to eye with this opinion. In my view, street art is really interesting to people
excited about the hip-hop style. In the other hand, many homeowners do not want their house to
be painted, especially in many cases these works are not beautiful.

The Art Club is organizing a talk to the public to attract more attention. We are going to invite an
artist to give a talk to the members. As a member of our club, could you give us an artist to join
our talk and what topic should they share to gain more attention? Especially, we would like to
have more both young and elderly members.”

My name is Nguyen Quoc Trung. I have been a club member for 2 years. I am writing this email
to express my feelings and opinions about the notification that I have just received from the club.
Besides, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the members of The Art Club since they
have worked hard and sacrificed a lot to support us.
According to the news, the club invited an artist to talk to the public to attract more attention. To
be honest, I was on cloud nine when I heard this news.
From my perspective, it would be preferable if the club could post details regarding this notice
on the club’s forum so that people can follow and attend with us. Howerver, I would be grateful
if we could invite street artists to talk about how to make each building unique. Nowadays street
artist has become popular and everyone is curious about it. Besides, we should hold the talk on
the weekend. This time is ideals beacause people will be free and can participate more on our
event.
Please take my suggestions to consideration. I am looking forward to receiving your response
