Water pollution is a significant global issue caused by natural factors and human activities, leading to severe health risks and environmental damage. The lack of proper wastewater treatment and waste management exacerbates the problem, resulting in contaminated water sources that can cause diseases and economic burdens. To combat this, it is essential to improve water systems and waste purification efforts while promoting collective responsibility for water resource protection.

Water covers more than 70% of the Earth's surface area and is also

an indispensable ingredient for the human body. However, pollution in each

water field is a burning problem that countries around the world are facing.
The cause of water pollution can be caused by factors from nature
such as melting snow, rain, flood, storm, etc., carrying dirt accumulated in
the water flow into rivers, streams, ... . Besides, the natural life of
organisms can also cause water pollution. The living environment of the
organisms is affected, and the water source is heavily polluted bringing
many strange diseases. To overcome this, we need to build a reasonable
water system and build waste purification plants to reduce pollution.
The domestic waste is not treated but discharged directly into the
river. Wastewater treatment facilities are not properly regulated. Many
medical facilities still do not have a waste treatment system. The city has a
lot of garbage but cannot collect it all, causing the water source to be
heavily polluted.
The harmful effects of polluted water on humans are extremely
heavy, especially in terms of health, if the water contains heavy metals and
toxic substances, it can cause people to be poisoned. This is also the
cause of cancers, genetic mutations and birth defects. We should limit
eating foods of unknown origin or foods that are too fresh because they can
be sprayed with drugs that stimulate the growth of cancer germs.
Not only that, but it also causes great damage to the economy
because the treatment of contaminated water is extremely expensive and
takes a lot of time for the contaminated water to return to a clean state.
Protecting water resources, specifically, and the environment in
general, is the responsibility of all of us.
