When working jacquard with color changes that are widely spread, I like to cut the inside strands
and tie them together.

Embroider the mouth with Pica Pau Cotton (37) in the center of the Buttermilk (color 03) patch,
on rounds 13 and 14. Insert the safety eyes between rounds 13 and 14, about 3 stitches away
from the mouth. Sew the cheeks behind the safety eyes. Sew the head spots between rounds 6
and 8, on the top of the head.
Continue in a stripe pattern, changing color every round, alternating Pica Pau Cotton (32) and
Pica Pau Cotton Nude (03)
Rnd 17-26: sc in all 48 st [48]
Change to Pica Pau Cotton color (35)
Rnd 27-32: sc in all 48 st [48]
Rnd 33: (sc in next 6 st, dec) 6 times [42]

Stuff the head and body and continue stuffing as you go.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Using a tapestry needle, weave the yarn tail through the front loop
of each remaining stitch and pull tight to close. Weave in the yarn end.
ANTENNAE

Pull up a loop in Rnd 5 at the top center of the head. Ch 7.
Row 1: start in second ch from hook, slst in next 6 ch [5]. Join with a slst in the next st on the
head.
Insert the hook in the next stitch and ch 7, slst in next 6 ch. Join with a slst to the head. Weave in
the yarn end.
ARMS (make 2)
Work with Pica Pau Cotton color (35)
Rnd 1: start 7 sc in a magic ring [7]
Rnd 2-7: sc in all 7 st [7]
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff lightly. Sew the arms to both sides between rounds
18 and 20.
LEGS (make 2)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff lightly. Sew the legs to both sides between rounds
32 and 34.
