Welcome in the new millennium in a less traversed corner of Europe, the Balkan Peninsula. Come
visit Albania and see what few people have seen: an untouched coastline, hidden valleys, and
rugged mountains. Visit Albania and receive one of the warmest receptions in all of Europe. The
people of this small country are known for warmth and hospitality. From the mountains in the north to
the archaeological sites in the south, from the growing city of Tirana and the port of Durres to the
rural villages throughout the country, there is surprising diversity for travelers in Albania to discover.

Day 1. Arrival to Tirana (Say hello to our colorful capital)

Day 3. Boat trip to lake Koman and retour/Shkoder (200 km)

Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrival to Tirana
Reception from our guide at the airport and transfer to Tirana. Sightseeing tour in Tirana where you
can visit the Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower which are situated in the main center of the city.
You’ll also see the main boulevard called “Martyrs of the Nation” and it’s characteristic buildings in
Italian style. Dinner and overnight at 4* Hotel in Tirana.
Day 2:
Theth
Transfer by private coach to the Thethi, one of the most known villages of northern Albania, because
of it’s stunning nature and the traditional houses. The group will walk downhill from the house, and
visit the attractions near by the village, including the Church, the Tower of Isolation (a tower house
used in the past as a shelter), the Thethi Waterfall, and the Grunasi Canyon. Visit also to the 2007
discovery-the Cyclopean stone walled terraces dating from the late bronze era! Overnight at one of
the guest houses of Thethi Village.
Day 3:
Koman / Shkoder
Early morning departure from Theth to the Koman terminal. and the arrival in Koman at 09:00
am,after a 40 min sail we arrive at Peace Island, enjoying one of the most beautiful views in Europe,
After these exploring and entertaining tours, around 13:00pm, we all gather to eat lunch at the
Guesthouse, with traditional foods and drinks, after which you can also enjoy seasonal fruits. After a
small break, a coffee and some photos, we get ready to return with the Ferry ,around 14:45 pm,
which will land there particularly to pick us up around 15:30 am. While the departure from Koman is
at 15:30 pm and arrival in Shkodra around 17:030 pm. Sightseeing tour in Shkodra is an ancient city
founded in the fourth century B.C. as the main center of the Illyrian Label tribe and was originally
named “Scodra”. Shkodra is one of the main centers of Albanian culture and history. Visit to Rozafa
Castle and it’s museum to learn about the legend of the woman who was walled alive during the
construction for the castle. The castle has been built in the II Century BC. Upon arrival depending on
time in disposal check in Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Rozafa 4* or similar 4* Hotel.
Day 4:
Shkoder - Kruja - Karavasta Lagoon
After breakfast, the trip continues to the historic city of Kruja, where you’ll visit The Medieval Castle,
the Museum of our National Hero Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg and the Ethnographic Museum. Kruja:
Home of Albania's National and most important hero, Scanderbeg, whom in the 15th century
successfully kept the Turkish at bay for over thirty years. A stop at the Old Bazaar where you can
have handmade souvenirs shopping. Departure from Kruja to the Karavasta Lagoon.
Accommodation in 4* Hotel, near Karavasta Lagoon (Divjake).
Day 5:
Berat
Morning hiking and bird watching in Karavasta National Park. Drive to Berat part of UNESCO
heritage since July 2008. Berat is one of the oldest city in Albania where you can enjoy it’ culture,
history and traditional cuisine, wine tasting and lunch at Kantina Luani. Afternoon, city tour in Berat,
visit to the castle, build on the hills of the city, Onufri Museum, Saint Trinity Church, Saint Nicolas
