“Athato Brahma Jigyasa” – Inquiry
1. Why do sufferings, problems and failures occur repeatedly even when undesired? न चाहते हु ए
भी जीवन में दुःख, समस्याएं एवं असफलताएं बार बार क्यों आती हैं?
2. Why do bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people? अच्छे लोगों
के साथ बुरा क्यों होता है और बुरे लोगों के साथ अच्छा क्यों होता है ?
3. Who has predestined our lives- God, fate our ourselves? हमारा जीवन कसने नधार्ज रत कया है -
भगवान ने, भाग्य ने या हमने?
4. What is fate? Does fate make who we are or do we make our fate? भाग्य क्या है ? भाग्य हमें
बनाता है या हम भाग्य को बनाते हैं?
5. Is this daily rat race the goal of life? क्या रोज़ की भाग दौड़ ही जीवन का लक्ष्य है ?

Types of Knowledge
Material Knowledge (Knowledge of matter) Spiritual Knowledge (Knowledge of spirit)
Material knowledge informs us of how the dead matter Spiritual knowledge informs us of the objective of doing
for instance the various organs of the body work: How these activities, such as: Why have we got this body and
does the heart work? How does the kidney and the liver what is its purpose? Why is the motor car
function? How does the motor engine work? What is the manufactured? What is the objective of manufacturing
utility of a clutch? What is the use of brakes? What is the and driving a motor car?
function of accelerator, etc?
Material knowledge mitigates, in actuality reduces Spiritual knowledge tells us the objective of life. It
sufferings by providing facilities. It cannot give you teaches us how our body has been created and the goal
happiness. It gives you pleasure which is completely of this creation. It is only spiritual knowledge, that due
different from true happiness. to being independent of external factors, is able to give
complete happiness.
