Прилагательные на —ing описывают качества и характеристики


предмета или человека, сообщают о каком-то свойстве. На русский
язык они переводятся чаще всего прилагательными.

This book is very interesting. – Эта книга очень интересная.


She finds her job exhausting. – Она считает свою работу
изнурительной.
It was an exciting experience for her. – Это был увлекательный опыт
для нее.

Прилагательные на —ed показывают чувства, эмоции или состояние


человека. На русский язык мы обычно переводим такое
прилагательное глаголом или причастием, иногда существительным,
наречием или другими частями речи.

I’m interested in landscape design. – Я интересуюсь ландшафтным


дизайном.
At the end of the day she is often exhausted. – Часто в конце
рабочего дня она утомлена.
She is excited about going to Portugal.– Она в восторге от поездки в
Португалию.

boring или bored?

– I’m boring. Let’s go home. – Я скучный. Пойдем домой.


– You are not boring, you are quite an interesting person. – Ты не

– Sorry, I meant I’m bored. Let’s go home. – Извини, я хотел сказать, что
