I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
a. Define what is verb.
b. Identify the action in the pictures.
c. Recognize verb as words in the pictures.
d. Demonstrate actively the action words or values.

Preliminaries:

c. Checking of the Attendance

A. Activity
“Act out Actions”
- Let the pupils act the actions
- The teacher will say the specific action words
- The pupils will act as illustrates the given actions
B. Analysis/Lesson Proper
Based on the given activity, the pupils will answer the following questions:
1. What did you think about the activity?
2. What did you observe during the activity?
3. Are you familiar to those words?
C. Abstraction:
Verb- is an action word that expresses feeling, act or thought.
Examples: climb, cry, dance, jump, clap and etc.
Generalization :
What is verb?
Give me an example of action words and demonstrate to the class properly.

D. Application:
Group Activity- Guess and Act the Picture Game
 The Class will be divided into 4 Groups.
 Each group will be arranged the given puzzle picture and give the specific
action being illustrated.
 The teacher will give 5 minutes for the pupils to arrange the picture
puzzle.
 The group whose first to arrange, will get 20 points, the second will get 15
points and the last two groups will get 10 points each.
IV. Evaluation:
Direction: Complete the sentences by choosing the words inside the box.
