My professional development as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer has been a

continuous journey of acquiring new knowledge, honing existing skills, and applying
them in practical, real-world scenarios. Over the past 12 years, I have sought to improve
my capabilities through formal education, professional certifications, specialized training,
and hands-on experience managing complex engineering projects.
1. Formal Education:
 I completed my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics
Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology in 2012
with a GPA of 3.34. To further advance my technical knowledge and
understanding, I pursued a Master of Engineering in Electrical and
Electronics Engineering from the same university, graduating in 2018 with a
GPA of 3.60.

2. Professional Certifications:
 Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification: Obtaining the
PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) was a
critical milestone in my career. This globally recognized certification has
equipped me with advanced project management skills, including risk
management, quality assurance, resource allocation, and stakeholder
engagement. These skills have been instrumental in leading large-scale
engineering projects across international borders, such as relocating
manufacturing plants from Italy, Austria, and Finland to Bangladesh.

 Fire Systems Design for Safety and Protection: Through this specialized
course on Udemy, I gained in-depth knowledge of fire safety systems and
protection measures, which I have integrated into all aspects of plant
operation and maintenance at Walton Hi-Tech Industries. This has
contributed significantly to enhancing workplace safety standards and
minimizing risks.
3. Specialized Training:
 I have undergone numerous advanced training programs across various
countries, each focusing on different engineering and manufacturing
technology aspects. For example, I completed advanced training in
Compressor Manufacturing Plant Operations and Maintenance in Italy, CNC
Milling Machine Operations in the USA and Germany, and PCB
Manufacturing Plant Operations in Finland. These training programs have
expanded my technical expertise and allowed me to implement state-of-the-
art technologies and best practices in Walton's manufacturing processes.
 Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): I also completed specialized
training in TPM, a holistic approach to equipment maintenance that strives
for perfect production with no breakdowns, slowdowns, or defects. I have
successfully applied TPM principles to improve equipment efficiency,
reduce downtime, and ensure continuous production at Walton's factories.
4. Professional Development through Experience:
 My work experience at Walton Hi-Tech Industries has been a significant
professional development source. Over the years, I have advanced from
Assistant Director to Additional Operational Director, taking on increasing
levels of responsibility and leadership. This progression reflects my
commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, and strategic thinking,
which have been crucial to my success in managing complex engineering
projects.

Career Episodes
Career Episode 1: Relocation of Compressor Manufacturing Plant from
Italy to Bangladesh
Introduction
This career episode describes my role in relocating a compressor manufacturing plant
from Italy to Bangladesh, which began in June 2022 and is ongoing. As the Additional
Operative Director at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, I was tasked with overseeing the
entire relocation process, from planning and dismantling the plant in Italy to shipping,
reinstallation, and commissioning in Bangladesh.

Background
The strategic decision to relocate the compressor manufacturing plant was driven by
Walton's desire to enhance its production capabilities and reduce operational costs. The
project was complex, involving decommissioning heavy machinery, managing
international logistics, and reassembling the plant in a new location without disrupting
ongoing production.

My Role and Responsibilities

As the project leader, I coordinated all aspects of the relocation process, including team
management, logistics, safety compliance, and stakeholder communication. My
responsibilities included:
 Team Leadership: I led a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and contractors,
ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with project goals.
I conducted regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and
adjust plans as necessary.
 Logistics Management: I coordinated with international logistics companies to
plan and execute the safe transportation of heavy machinery from Italy to
Bangladesh. This involved developing a detailed shipping plan, securing necessary
permits, and ensuring international safety and environmental regulations
compliance.
 Quality Assurance: I implemented robust quality control measures to ensure all
machinery was correctly dismantled, packed, and shipped. Upon arrival in
Bangladesh, I oversaw the reinstallation and commissioning of the equipment,
conducting regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards.
 Risk Management: I proactively identified potential risks associated with the
relocation, such as delays in shipping, damage to machinery, and compliance
issues. I developed contingency plans to mitigate these risks and ensure the project
remained on track.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the significant challenges I faced was managing the logistics of transporting
heavy machinery across international borders. This involved coordinating with multiple
stakeholders, including suppliers, shipping companies, and customs authorities, to ensure
all necessary documentation and permits were in place. I overcame this challenge by
establishing effective communication channels, developing a detailed logistics plan, and
employing advanced tracking systems to monitor shipments in real-time.

Another challenge was ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations in
Italy and Bangladesh. To address this, I conducted thorough research on the relevant
rules, engaged with legal experts, and implemented strict safety protocols throughout the
relocation process.
Achievements
The successful relocation of the compressor manufacturing plant marked a significant
achievement for Walton Hi-Tech Industries. The project was completed on time and
within budget, with no significant disruptions to production. My leadership and strategic
planning ensured that the plant was fully operational within the stipulated time frame,
contributing to a substantial increase in Walton's production capacity and cost savings.
Career Episode 2: Factory Relocation and Capacity Expansion of Walton
Mold Factory and Walton Die Factory.
Introduction
This career episode describes my role in the relocation and capacity expansion of the
Walton Mold and Die factory, a project I led from January 2021 to December 2022. The
project involved relocating the existing factory to a larger facility and expanding its
production capacity to meet growing demand.

Background
The project aimed to enhance Walton's mold and die production capabilities by relocating
the existing factory to a larger facility and installing new machinery. This required
meticulous planning and execution, considering the logistical and operational challenges
involved, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

My Role and Responsibilities

As the project leader, I was responsible for developing and implementing a
comprehensive project management plan covering all relocation and capacity expansion
aspects. My key responsibilities included:
 Project Planning and Management: I developed a detailed project management
plan that included a scope definition, risk management strategies, and a timeline
for each phase of the project. I also led the creation of critical project deliverables,
such as the Project Charter and risk management documents.
 Stakeholder Engagement: I communicated effectively with all stakeholders,
including senior management, suppliers, and team members, to ensure alignment
with project goals and objectives. I conducted regular status meetings to provide
updates and address any concerns or issues.
 Relocation and Installation: I oversaw the relocation of 400 machines from the
old facility to the new one, coordinating with logistics teams and international
experts to ensure safe and timely transportation. I also managed the Installation and
commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and
quality standards.
Challenges and Solutions
The primary challenge was managing the relocation and Installation of 400 machines
while adhering to safety standards and timelines, especially during the COVID-19
pandemic. I developed a detailed relocation plan, which included contingency plans to
address potential delays and disruptions. I also coordinated closely with logistics teams to
ensure all machinery was safely transported and installed.

Another challenge was maintaining effective communication with stakeholders,

particularly those in different time zones. I implemented a communication strategy to
address this, including regular virtual meetings, status updates, and progress reports.
Achievements
The project was completed successfully, with all machinery installed and operational
within the stipulated time frame. My leadership and strategic planning ensured the project
was delivered on time and within budget, significantly enhancing Walton's mold and die
production capacity. The successful completion of this project also demonstrated my
ability to lead complex projects under challenging circumstances.
