The seed

Now he (God) who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase
the store of your seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. (2 Corinthians 9 :10, NIV
emphasize mine).

As long as the earth endures, SEEDTIME and harvest , cold and heat, summer and winter, day and
night will never cease. (Genesis 8:22 NIV).

Seed inventory

Remember a seed is any and everything given to you by God that can be sow or invested to produce an
harvest. And in the previous chapter we realized that there are five major seeds God gives to every
youth. They are,

• Strength (energy)
• Time
• Gifts
• Resources
• Words.

• Strength is a seed it can be sow.

• Time is a seed it can be invested.
• Gift is a seed it can be cultivated.
• Resources are seeds they can be invested.
• Words are the most powerful seeds that can be sow.

Strength

The glory of young men is their strength... (proverbs 20:29)

The glory of young men is their strength, but also the strength of young men is a seed. The first seed
God supply to every young man and woman in the seed-time is strength, "energy and vigor." One of the
first attribute of young men is strength, energy and vigor. 1 John 2:14 says i write to you, dear children,
because you know the father. I write to you, fathers because you know Him who is from the beginning. I
write to you, young men, because you are strong. And the word of God lives in you, and you have
overcome the evil one. The youthful age is a season of sowing and if you have ever lived on the farm
land you know it takes a whole lot of strength to sow. And that why lamentation 3: 27 says it is good for
a man to bear the yoke while he is young. The youthful age is not a season to be going about and
enjoying the pleasure of friends and parties, God in His Wisdom has divided the lifetime of every man on
earth into three seasons, and the first season that comes is the seed time. And God knows that it takes
strength to sow and that's why He equips every young man and woman with strength to sow. Strength is
the quality of being physically and mentally strong, and every youth posses this quality. You possess
physical and mental strength that can be invested. God never created any youth without this seed of
strength that can be sow to produce a harvest of great future.

Time

Time is the currency of the earth.

food come to the wise or wealth to
the brilliant or favor to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them

Some facts about time

• Time is a currency
• Time is the unit of destiny.
• Time is the currency for greatness.
• Time is the seed of greatness.
• Time cannot be retrieved it can only be invested.
• Time is common to everyone.
• Time not invested is time wasted
• Time is an obedient servant
• Time is a revealer of things

The quality of our life is measured by the effective use of our time. A lot of young people don't know
that time is a seed, one of the greatest asset given by God to all mankind under the sun. Every one that
will be great or build anything great in life must know how to use this currency called time to their
advantage. Dr. Mike Murdock once said, "think of every hour as an employee, delegate a specific
assignment to each hour". You must learn how to make time your servant. A man who cannot order his
time is a man who cannot order his life, j. osward sanders said, the career and character of a young man
depends on how he or she spends spare time. The difference between the rich and the poor is how they
invest their time, the difference between the great and the small is where and how they invest their
time, let me as you a question "are you spending your time or investing it." time is never meant to be
spent but invested, what you spend does not bring a return, only what you invest brings a return to you,
translate your time into value and impact by investing it rightly. your greatness and your success in life
is the sum total of how you use your time daily.

Gift

The gift of a man makes room for him and bring him before great men(proverbs 18:16)

The seed-time is the season of self discovery and self cultivation, it is the time of sowing your gift, which
is your potential, ability and Devine endowment as a seed. What differentiate the great from the small,
the successful from the unsuccessful is the ability to discover and cultivate their potentials until it
becomes useful and valuable. Your gift when it is discovered and cultivated is,

• A key that can open doors for you

• Can create opportunities for you
• Can attract you to great men
• Has monetary value.

The seed-time is the season you discover and cultivate this potentials, until it becomes valuable and can
be used to
serve your generation. The seed of greatness has been placed within you already, discover it, cultivate
it and then serve it to your generation.

Resources
Buy the truth, do not sell it... (proverbs 23:23)

As a young man every money that comes into your hand in your youth time is a seed, it can be invested
rightly, there are lot of young people who spend their money on irrelevant things, some spend money
on clothes, some spend their money purchasing materials that has no contribution to the quality of their
life and purpose. As a young teenage boy, i started building my personal library when i was at the age of
sixteen. Many time i will travel to different cities to sell pen, just because i wanted to buy books, i was so
passionate for knowledge i will do anything to get it, I often travel to a city for two weeks, selling pen
under the hot sun and at the end of the day all i realized as a profit was invested into buying books, and
today my greatest material possessions on earth is my library, young man, young woman the most
secured place you can invest your money is in buying the truth, investing your money in buying quality
information that will transform your life. When I was much younger as a teenager i developed a
philosophy for my life, i said to myself, abel every money God is giving you now are not His blessings
yet, they are seeds, He is giving you the money to buy the future, this philosophy help me to think of
every money that came into my hands has a seed. I will often go hungry just because i want to buy
books. I learnt a very powerful lesson from one of my favorite and uncommon mentor apostle Joshua
selman, he said, we rise in life on the strength of what we know. Meaning, knowledge is the ladder we
climb on our partway to greatness. That statement made by my mentor has made a profound impact
on my life, it became my philosophy for living. You cannot rise above the plane of your current
knowledge, the more you know the higher you soar. The greatest investment you can make in your
seed time with your money is buying the truth--quality information. The quality of your life is
determined by the quality of truth--information you have purchased and applied overtime. Sam

Words

The reality of our lives today are to a large extent harvest from the seeds we have sown with our
mouth yesterday, and the reality of our lives tomorrow will be harvest from the seed we are sowing
with our mouth today.

Words are the most powerful seeds that can be sow, the seed time is the season you start programming
your life and your future by your words. Words are very creative and constructive, infact the entire
world came out of the creative womb of God's Word, Hebrews 11vs 3 says, by faith we understand that
the world was made by the word of God... If the material world you see and you live in was made and
created by the word of God, that means every word you are speaking is creating and making
something. Your faith confession is what determine your fate in life, your life cannot rise above your
confession, what you say is what you see. You can change your live by changing how you speak. The
question is what how you saying about yourself and your future. You cannot avoid to be careless with
the way you speak, every word you speak about yourself is programming your reality and is
determining your experiences in life. To be careless about your words is to be careless about your live.
Can you cultivate the habit of speaking faith filled words, say to yourself i cannot be poor, loudly declare
it, i will feed nations, when others are saying there is a casting down, for me there is a lifting up, am an
ambassador of Christ, kings of nations will come to hear the wisdom and the counsel of God in my
mouth, i cannot be small, i cannot fail, i rise above limitations, i am intelligent, i am a man of global
impact, i rise above circumstances and the oppression of the devil, i am wealthy and healthy. When you
begin to speak like this the true spirit of greatness that is in you will rise up and is made strong by your
confession. Never confess anything that is outside of the context of God's word. Every time you are
releasing utterances out of your mouth, you are not just speaking a language, you are programming,
creating and sowing seeds. Every words you are speaking about yourself today, will eventually caught
up with you one day and become your reality. Papa kenneth e hagin once said, who you are and what
you have today, is a result of what you believed and said in the past.
