Calibrationbox TAHCK duct system

STARTING
- Remove the protective cap from the sensor beside cable input
- Pull out the sensor from the duct and let them cool out handwarm
- Plug in the calibration box measuring cable and lock it in position
ZERO POINT
- Press the key
- After date, time and software version are shown in display, press key
- For information, you get next function an default (CAL) alarm at device, maybe your
system is stopping ( or make a bridge between default alarm )
- Move the cursor to the function MAINTENANCE and press
- Go to CALIBR: ZERO and confirm with
- Take the bottle synthetic air 20% oxygen and screw the pressure adapter briefly at the
minican, before look that the valve is closed
- Set the ball of the flow meter from calibration set into the middle of the glass
- Hold on the sensor in position it is mounted into the duct
- At display you see APPLY ZERO GAS TO SENSOR than press
- You see the LEL% value and ADJUST, go with cursor to Y and
- Now you see a value between 1000 and 1700 MV, when the value is constant

- Close the valve of the calibration set

- At calibration box you see again the LEL concentration, say N and
- Make to come to display MAINTENANCE
- If you have more sensors and one flow meter, make all sensors with zero point but
remove the calibration box only at maintenance or off situation
- After finish remove the flow meter from the minican bottle
AMPLIFICATION
- Go again to MAINTENANCE and confirm CALIBR. GAIN with
- At display you see CALGAS = PROPAN, SAMPGAS = (Your solvents ),
RESPONSE = ( factor difference Calibration to solvent gas )
-
- CALGAS = SAMP GAS, now change with cursor the CALGAS value to:
17 with 0,3% C3H8 propane ( see minican bottle )
Depending of response you see another Sampgas value
- When the CALGAS concentration is at 17,
- Take the bottle 0,3% C3H8 propane and screw the pressure adapter briefly at the
minican, before look that the valve is closed
- Set the ball of the flow meter from calibration set into the middle of the glass
- Hold on the sensor in position it is mounted into the duct
- At display you see APPLY CALGAS TO SENSOR than press
- You see the LEL% value and ADJUST, go with cursor to Y and
- Now you see a value between 200 and 400 MV, when the value is constant
- Close the valve of the calibration set
- At calibration box you see again the LEL concentration, say N and
- Make to come to display MAINTENANCE
- If you have more sensors make all calibrations
- When you see MAINTENANCE go with cursor down (next page) to END and
to make off the calibration box
- After finish remove the flow meter from the minican bottle
