WHAT DID YOU LEARN?
Participating in the discussion, assessment, and planning
of student-led activities has been a life-changing
experience that enhanced my knowledge of collaboration,
leadership, and project management. I realized that
communication is key; creating an open dialogue among
team members promotes the exchange of different ideas
and opinions, which can bring more creative solutions.
Assessing suggested activities also helped me realize the
value of critical thinking and ascertaining feasibility since
it is necessary to match activities with the interests and
requirements of the student population. I also learned the
value of establishing clear goals and measurable results,
which act as a guide for accomplishment and enable us to
determine the efficacy of our efforts.
Planning involved careful attention to detail such as
logistics, resource management, and timeline
maintenance, which allowed me to become more
organized. I also acquired the importance of flexibility; a
willingness to embrace feedback and amend plans
according to feedback from stakeholders and peers is
crucial in getting things done as desired. Looking back at
our activities after implementation helped me determine
strengths and weaknesses, affirming the fact that learning
is a continuous process for growth.
In general, this experience has provided me with a strong
skill set that encompasses leadership, teamwork, and
strategic planning, enabling me to take initiative in future
projects and make a positive contribution to my
community. It has given me a feeling of responsibility and
dedication to creating an environment of cooperation

planning of student-led activities, I accomplished a
