Question 1:
By redemption and the receiving of the Spirit of God, all authority and all power for all
healing is in us. Having this understanding, show with ALL details how a believer
receives healing in their bodies and ministers healing to others?
ANSWER :
Ephesians 4:11-16 (KJV)
[11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
[15]But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
[16]From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
We fine in Ephesians 1:3, he chose us before time, redemption is how he moved us from what he had
planned before time, the reality of man’s sins that will negate what he initially planned and the providing a
solution to the problem, that will now bring us back to Him. Redemption means a setting free, that’s why
we see a forgiveness immediately afterwards, which actually means deliverance in that context. So God,
was never in a position whereby he needed some plea rather we were under another persons reign,
another hold ( the reign of sin and death), so God was the one working our freedom, rather than the
ideology tha he was the one who put us in bondage, instead we put ourselves there by rejecting his
purpose which is light and life and automatically accepting death and darkness thereby bringing it into this
world and He sought after our redemption and this is the singular and sole message of the scriptures.
Now, Colossians 1:12-14 says;
Colossians 1:12-14
lness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of
the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of
his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins
God has translated us, changed our position into His kingdom, his own reign. This redemption is
accomplished via a Gods power worked in Christ Jesus at the resurrection. The very teaching of
redemption is of healing, and we see that it is done by the spirit, the working power that rose Christ from
the dead is the spirit, Romans 1:4, calls is the spirit of holiness, Ephesians 1:19-23, calls it the power of
God, so Jesus allowed himself to be taken by death, and allowed it to exhaust itself upon him so that all
the rightful claims that sin and death had over us, has been exhausted upon him so that it can no longer
have any claim over any of us.
Meaning that, if there are any activities of sun and death around us, we can just opt out of it, because
they have no rightful claim, over us. Romans 6:4 calls the the working power that rose Christ from the
dead, the glory of the Father. The power is closely associated with the spirit, (Romans 8:11) Hids power
in the resurrection has both a spiritual and physical effect, this physical effect is that our our mortal bodies
being made immortal eventually and that might power that very spirit is in us (Ephesians 3:20), the
healing power is the same as the resurrection power, one power that has diverse effects and it is actively
at work in us. Acts 10,we see that in the ministry of our Lord Jesus, all his healings were said to be by
power and all sicknesses and diseases were treated as under the reign of sun and death, now healing is
redemption at work, the persuasion for redemption, is the persuasion for healing, it is the same message.
So, if we are convinced that Christ rose from the dead we are to stand on the same when it comes to our
healing or making healing possible for others.
How does a believer receive the actual experience of being healed ( for him/herself )
1.) He/she has to be taught the word, so as to birth conviction, persuasion and therefore making him
established ( Colossians 2:6 )
2.) The believer is to stand on it with words or by confession, and that’s how he receives the Dayak
experience of healing; death raised, deaf ears being opened, crippled legs walking, and so on.
So the heat the message, they are persuaded and settled in it, the they speak and receive healing in any
part of the body.
Confession in the mouth is persistence, never wavers, never stops even amidst contradiction.
How to minister healing for others.
1.) Faith
2.) Boldness, based on Faith (Acts 4:29-30, Eph 6:18-20)
3.) Patience /Persistence and this is not to wait but to stay and continue and being patient to get a
result getter speedily or in due time.
4.) Compassion for the sick
5.) Helping them to receive as well, by getting them able to participate through faith (Acts 14:9-10)
And such individual, is now being taught to receive this healing by continually speaking.

How to receive Gods word for Growth.
cycle 11, spanning from August 19 to Saturday, August 31, 2024
Week 11: Level D, Track 7-8
Question 2: How to Receive God's Word for Growth
As taught by pastor, explain how a believer is expected to grow in the local Church.
Ephesians 4:11-16 (KJV)
[11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
The leaders of the church in verse 11, are ministry gifts and were given for one reason which is
the perfecting of the saints and it’s being done till we come to a point unity of the faith,
perfect man, and the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ and Luke 6:40 now
explains the training or the model God wants for us which is to be as the master, through the
perfecting of the saint, through being perfectly trained and this tallies with Matthew
28:18-20, to make disciples, and this isn’t just preaching the word but making sure the person
receives so they can turn out to be as the master. God wants us to grow to the exact same point
as the master- the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. And this all started with a
purpose which is Sonship, God wanting to have a family.
Now, spiritual growth and a not primarily by activity or conduct but in Knowledge, the knowledge
of Gods word is what causes growth and Paul’s calls it the unity of the faith, and Jesus says we
should take heed to what he hear,
Mark 4:24
And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given,
As well as, Luke 8:18
Luke 8:18
Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and
whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Here it says to take heed how you hear, meaning don’t just take in any information or
knowledge but the unity of the faith, meaning teaching Gods word isn’t about using what we
have in mind or idea and then teaching it to back it up.
Paul, being the one who was given an exclusive grace to lay the foundation upon which we
build upon today, and he tells us that we are to be taught of the word properly and then hold fast
to it, which we see in 2 Timothy 1:13, Hupotuposis the outline of sound words we are not
suppose to teach any other thing than that which Paul and other apostles laid down and God
wants us to fully know His word and he doesn’t expect us to experiment to know his word but to
be taught
1.) Take heed what you hear
2.) Take heed how you hear
Take heed what you hear, means if what we hear is wrong the really isn’t any need to take
heed how we hear.
A believer must be careful with what he hears; spiritual growth, ministry. Just like in Acts
8:29-31, one must guide another, to lead people on the way to the undertanding of Gods words
and the next does the same
So Gods design, is not that we learn the word on our own but rather men teach us, which is the
in local church or else it leads casualties. And this is what Paul was talking about in Colossians
1:24, that there was something lacking in the afflictions of Christ, and what is that? Christ did the
work of redemption and settled all he needed to in the work of redemption but he didn’t settle
the issue of knowledge, which is very vital for our growth so as to walk in what he has already
done, he now have men the responsibility to fully present what message which is Christ in me,
so they are to teach us the word and all the realities of the same.
Take heed how you hear, means to receive Gods word is up to us, so the reason for my level
of spiritual growth is dependent on me, that is how I receive what I hear, otherwise it is what I
hear. Receiving Hids word is my own responsibility and it’s based on my desire- epipotheo, to
long after till I receive and we can only receive with meekness
James 1:21, says we should be doers of the word this doesn’t mean trying to do the word , but
do something that will end up being the doer of the word, and how is this- verse 23&24, and we
see a parallel of this in Matt 13:1-7, Jesus waning about how we receive Gods word.
The word and how we understand determines every other aspect of our lives. And this now
births the 5 things that led to one being the doer of the word( Attitudes of a believer to the
word)
1.) First heart, Attention, it requires attention, (1 Timothy 4:13), being early for the
meeting is one sign as well of being attentive
2.) Second heart, Meditation, this is the second heart we see in mark 4:16, these one are
excited but they have no root in themselves, these heart don’t meditate, and what really
is meditation, it is where one is found examining the reasoning of something so that it
now births conviction, Matt 16:7, so I’m to reason, what kind of teaching is this person
preaching to me and is this reasoning ( Dialogizomai) valid and if so then I can be said
to have understood and then agrees with it. So Gods word requires meditation.
3.) Third heart, Not standing heart, these one come to church but aren’t growing or
producing fruits, because it lacks a faith stand. Now understanding, means logical clarity
upon what is said and the leads to agreement.
4.) Fourth heart, Good heart, matt13:23, mark 4:20, Luke 8:15. This heart accepts it,
receives it- paradechomai, which is to admit something is true, to acknowledge and
then this heart keeps it-katecho, which is to hold something fast, hold down.
What standing does is that it produces the consciousness of what you are already persuaded of
as the truth, what will lead to us growing in Gods word is the consciousness of the word. Keep
feeding to grow( standing) . The degree of Katecho is what births the fruits.
In conclusion, Colossians 2:6, walk in him, how do we walk in him by faith, how do we receive
him by faith and then speaking it, so it becomes a reality.
Thank you, Sir.
