Question 1: In clear terms, what is expected of the Believers' Holy Ghost Meeting?

ANSWER :
Ephesians 4:11-16 (KJV)
[11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
[15]But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
[16]From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
The emphasis here is on verse 12, about “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of
the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”

The leadership of the church was given by the Lord so that the sain are brought to a final point,
which is the edifying of the body of ChristC and e also see this in Matt. 28:18, where the Lord
says we are to be taught and this begins with teaching meetings ( Acts 2:42 ) “the apostles
doctrine” so this edifying of the body of Christ is a strengthening of the church internally and the
expansion of the church externally. So there oils be teaching meetings and prayer meetings.

There is the church that has been built from the resurrection of the Christ, but the church’s
mission could not be carried out until they be endure with power. Furthermore, we see in
Acts1:-2-15, in verse 14, that the disciples were having prayer meetings, and Peter himself, was
having teaching meetings with them, teaching them the word. The church’s mission, it’s growth,
it’s expansion, a particular event had to happen and we now see that in Acts 2:1-4 (Baptism of
the holyghost), coming upon of the Holy Ghost, being filled with the Holy Ghost. But this has to
happen the gathering of the disciples for the meeting in which they were now filled with the Holy
Ghost( which is now termed Holy Ghost meetings) it’s a meeting where the things of the spirit,
are in demonstration and manifestation ( and we see it across the book of acts, foreshadowed in
the Old Testament, and we see it accounted for in conclusive explanation in the epistles). The
focus is on the demonstration and manifestation of the things of the spirit, in the books of acts
we see a couple of instances; Acts 10:44, Acts 11:27-30, Acts13:1, Acts 13:52, Acts 19:5-7, in
Acts 11:27-30, shows that there was a meeting where the disciples gathered to point out things
ahead of time about places, circumstances and situations, minstering to the Lord and then the
Holy Ghost spoke through them( giving them instructions) and these meetings were repetitive
as we get to see that they really aren’t special meetings but regular meetings, as seen in Acts
20:22

Acts 20:22, let’s us see that these meetings were done in various cities leading into Acts 21:4,
and in Acts 21:10 and it was by these meetings certain revelations given to Paul. So the
meetings couldn’t have been special but regular as regards it’s impact which was necessary on
a daily basis.

So what is expected of the believers’ Holy Ghost meeting?

Holy Ghost meetings are church meetings, where the direction and leadership of the spirit of
God is to be followed to bring about a full demonstration & manifestation of the gifts / things of
the spirit by the participation of ( all the saints ) for the edification of the church.

There are certain things that must happen at Holy Ghost meetings;
1.) Speaking in tongues
2.) Interpretation of tongues and prophesying
3.) Exhortation & Strength
4.) Magnifying God and ministering to the Lord
5.) Spirit inspired emotions (Laughter, Quiteness)
6.) Healing and miracles ministered and received
7.) manifestation of sight and sound
8.) Direction and instructions
9.) Commission and mandate both short term and long term.
10.) Laying on of hands to commission or to side a demonstration which is to bring about
certain effects or cause some to take certain initiatives.
11.) Manifestation of signs and wonders (not deliberately ministered but effects of the
Spirit)
12.) The edification of the church; the internal strengthening and the external expansion
of the same.

How are we to cause these Holy Ghost meetings to be;

1.) Deliberate fixed desire/ determination of all the features of a short hits meeting being
brought to pass.
2.) Leadership of the meeting, must be led by the sprite wbiut the meeting ( needs to be met
)
3.) Teaching of Gods word as led by the spirit, to les to the practice of the demonstration
and manifestation of all the gifts of the spirit.
4.) Demonstration of utterances to bring about (I) persuasion / conviction/ strengthening /
Exhortation (usually affecting both logic & emotion e.g prophecies ) (ii) Edifying worship
or depth in worship which now leds to (iii) spirit inspired emotions.

Thank you, Sir.

Teachings Referenced: You may all prophesy

Question 2: The already settled, definite message needs to be spoken by inspiration to achieve
the result of edification in men. Explain, concluding in 4 points the faith-stand of the
believer/minister relative to prophesying?

Ephesians 4:11-16 (KJV)

[11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Every saint of God, a born again has been given a ministry, we see this in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and the
ministry is a ministry of a message, and we are now ambassadors for chirst and it further says that we are
workers together with God and we are in church because the Lord has given us a ministry which we are
to be trained in, given by the alord in Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16: 15-18 and he has trusted me with his
work .

Now we see in Acts 1:4-5, so they were to receive of something but until then they were not to go and
when this event finally took place, and this spirit was poured out enough to get us saved, baptized with
the spirit and to even prophesy ( Acts 2:17 ) so it’s not enough to be saved, we are to function in the gifts
of the spirit and this is first by the indwelling spirit, by believing and then we are receive the Holy Ghost by
the pouring of the same upon us. An example of this is.

What is prophecy?

Prophesy is the verb Propheteuo, the noun prophecy, is Propheteia are from the noun Prophetes which is
Prophet.
A prophet is someone who is speaking on behalf of the other, in other words, a spokesperson. We see
that in Exodus 7:1&2, “Prophet” Nabiy from Naba. So to prophesy is to speak forth by inspiration,
meaning the message is ready but just laying down the message and the Holy Ghost is needed for this,
because it is to be spoken with the information relative to person, places, time, things, situation or
circumstances. The communication of Gods word must be done by the supernatural and the things of the
spirit but most especially to prophesy ( 1 Corinthians 14:1 ), so when the believer is given to prophesying
all the things of the spirit are put to work. You may all prophesy is you may all carry out the message with
the power of the Holy Ghost .

What happens when a believer is prophesying?

He is being filled with tongues and receiving interpretation of tongues and in the prophecy we would see
sometimes elements of revelation ( Word of Knowledge, Word of wisdom , discernment of spirit) and this
now leads to the power gifts( gift of faith, working of Miracles, gift of healing ) we must be given to
prophecy and when are to prophecy from the day we are born again, to start to learn how he would be of
benefit to others and how to put it to use being in the flow of the spirit completely and it’s from the
outpouring of the spirit that makes it possible not only for us to pray in tongues but also for us to
prophesy, given himself to speaking in tongues in order to prophesy (1 Corinthians 14:13) so to “pray that”
proseuchomai Hina, to pray in order that or with a purpose of result that I may interpreting or prophesy,
to receive meaning by my will of that which I have prayed in tongues. diermēneuō, to interpret, receiving
the meaning thoroughly, paying attention to what is laid hisor her heart or mind, and this is by hearing,
knowing or seeing by the spirit being filled with the same.

1 Corinthians 14:3-4, we see that prophesy is actually unto edification, comfort and exhortation for the
church, it edifies the church, revelation knowledge are together while prophesy and doctrine are together,
revelatory knowledge and doctrinal prophecies. (1 Corinthians 14:31-32 ) I talk in tongues to receive
meaning, it’s natural to the believer; doctrinal sound or song, revelatory knowledge and to practice it by
preaching and teaching.

Explain, concluding in 4 points the faith-stand of the believer/minister relative to prophesying?

1.) Preaching and teaching( paying attention and giving room to to things laid on my heart,to
minister it even illustrations which can be word of knowledge)
2.) Talking in tongues, interpret so that the church may receive edification
3.) Revelatory knowledge ( I know things, having facts )
4.) Doctrine
