Beehive

Beehive dimensions from recommended yarn: height 14.5 cm, diameter 16 cm.

You will need:


Yarn: Yarn Art Jeans (55% cotton 45% acrylic, 160 m/50 g) light yellow 88*3, yellow 35*1,
mustard 84*1, black 53, white 62, light blue 75, brown 40 in small quantity.
Alize Baby Cotton (50% cotton 50% acrylic, 270m/100g) ivory 01, green 101, yellow 113 also
in small quantity. Some Yarn Art Bright 236 (golden metallic).
2.25 mm crochet hook (hook size may vary depending on your density). 1.75 mm hook for
metallic yarn.
Scissors, big eyed needle, lighter, steam iron, hot glue gun. Even if you prefer to sew on parts
rather than glue, hot glue is necessary here for the rigidity of the structure.
Synthetic fiberfill, 1 mm diameter fishing line, 4 mm small black beads or eyes (+ supeglue if
use flatback beads), small yellow button or bead.

Stitch key:
AR – Adjustable Ring
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
fpsc - front post single crochet
bpsc - back post single crochet
htr- half treble crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st –slip stitch
inc – increase
dec – decrease
( )*n – repeat combination in brackets n times
