Andhra Pradesh Nursing Common Entrance Test for the Year 2025-26
Notification for inviting Applications through online and uploading of scanned original
certificates for appearing the Common Entrance Test pertaining to B.Sc. (Nursing) 4 YD
course for the Academic year 2025-26 under Competent Authority (Convener) Quota and
Management Quota seats in the affiliated nursing colleges to Dr NTR UHS, Vijayawada in
the State of Andhra Pradesh.
1. Application forms are invited through online from the eligible candidates who have
passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) from recognized Boards and
must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken
together and passed in English individually duly fulfilling the eligibility criteria for
appearing for APNCET -2025 for Competent Authority (Convener) Quota and
Management Quota seats in B.Sc.(Nursing) 4 YD course the colleges affiliated to Dr.
NTRUHS, as follows:-
a) Seats in Government Nursing Colleges;
b) Seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Nursing Colleges.
2. Duration of the Course:
The B.Sc. (Nursing) 4-YD Course shall be of four-year full-time regular mode program
comprising of eight semesters that is credit and semester based

**Application and Processing Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
4. Eligibility Criteria:
a. The candidates should be of Indian National (for both CQ & MQ admissions).
b. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for 4YDC B.Sc., (Nursing) course
c. CUT-OFF SCORES FOR ADMISSION INTO B.Sc.(Nursing) 4-YD Course
for both Competent Authority Quota & Management Quota

General category (OC) 50th Percentile
SC/ST/BC & 40th Percentile
Persons with disability (SC/ST/BC-PwD)
General category Persons with Disability (OC-PwD) 45th Percentile
d. Minimum Educational Qualifications:
The candidates who have passed 10+2/Intermediate of A.P. with Bi.P.C.
Group (Science Stream only) with English as compulsory subject are only
eligible to appear the APNCET-2025.

10+2 passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/
ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS/APOSS or other equivalent Board with Physics,
Chemistry and Biology, recognized by Board of Intermediate Education,
Andhra Pradesh.

Intermediate Vocational with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical
Sciences of Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State
Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by
Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
(AND)
English is compulsory subject in Intermediate/10+2 and should pass
individually.
e. Qualifying Marks in Intermediate/10+2 Science Subjects:
For OC candidates - Should have secured 45% aggregate of marks in
Science Subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry &
Biology
For SC, ST and BC - Should have secured 40% aggregate of marks in
Candidates Science Subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry &
Biology
f. Age:
Should have completed 17 years as on 31.12.2025
(The candidate must be born on or before 31st December, 2008 to be eligible
for B.Sc. (Nursing) 4-YD course.
No upper age limit
g. Medical Fitness:
The student shall be medically fit.
5. The eligible candidates have to submit their applications through online mode only
alongwith uploading the scanned copies of all relevant original certificates and
images of photo & signature.
6. Total number of seats available in Government & Private Un-aided Minority/Non-
Minority Nursing Colleges for the Academic Year 2025-26 will be displayed before
the notification of web counselling on the University Website.
7. The candidates are directed to follow the details / procedure as per the Prospectus/
Regulations available on University official Website.
8. The Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared basing on the cut-off
percentile in APNCET-2025 and other eligibility criteria.
9. The candidates who claim for admission under Persons with 5% Disability of
Locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity (PwD) category shall
mention in the online application that they are applying under PwD category. Also
during counseling process, they have to appear before the Medical Board
constituted by the Competent Authority and notified by the University for Eligibility
under PwD status alongwith a valid disability certificate issued not later than
three months prior to submitting his/her application.
10. Instructions to the candidates : -
a) The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus and instructions
available in the University Website https://drntr.uhsap.in. before filling Online
Application.
b) The On-line application form with the following lacunae will be rejected
automatically. No communication will be sent in this regard:-
If any of the mandatory certificates are not uploaded.
Applications with incomplete details / photo and signature.
If any of the uploaded certificates are invisible/not properly uploaded.
If the certificates are not properly scanned due to which the eligibility criteria
cannot be determined.
c) The candidates should register and upload all the mandatory certificates
without fail and verify once again before submission of online application.
11. Procedure for filling online application form and Online payment of fee :--
a) The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card / Net Banking.
b) The fee paid by the applicants is not transferable / refundable under any
circumstances.
c) Read the Detailed Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully regarding
eligibility under local and non-local.
d) Visit website through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application form.
e) The User ID which will be sent to the registered mobile after entering the
basic details should be noted for further use. The User ID should be kept
confidential and should not disclose to others.
f) The following Certificates are required to complete the online application
process. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload.
Application fee has to be paid through online.

14. The Orders issued from time to time by INC/ Health, Medical and Family Welfare Dept.,, Govt. of Andhra
Pradesh with regard to Admission into B.Sc., (Nursing) Course shall apply respectively.
