Prior Fixing
1 Check for cleaning of surface has done properly prior to frame fixing.
2 Check for member dimensions, thickness of sections as per approved specification.
3 Check member for any defects like twists, cracks, surface flaws, imperfect edges, etc.
Check for approvals of all components of UPVC windows / sliding doors including hard ware &

sealants.
5 Check for tiling work has been completed prior to fixing of sliding door frame.
6 Check for glass thickness, colour, toughened, scratches.
During Fixing
8 Check for fixing of the window / Sliding door in the wall as per drawing.
Check for a gap of 5 to 7mm for windows / 5 mm for doors all around the frame for sealant

provision.
10 Check for right angle, levels, diagonals, straightness of sides of window / SD frame.
11 Check for all anchor fastners are fixed to the frame.
12 Check for cleaning of surface has done properly prior to sealant application.
Check for gap filling between frame and wall properly done :

A) Internal : Acrylic sealant-352 & B) External : Silicone sealant-394
Post Fixing
14 Check for plumb, right angle, levels, diagonals are found satisfactory.
15 Check for gap filling between frame and wall properly.

16 Check for touch locks in good working condition, noise free movement of shutters and rigidity.

17 Check for defects in glass,Integrated grill and mosquito mesh


18 Check for cleaning of debris like tapes, sealants, spacer pieces, etc.
