Rooms in a house
Living Room
Typically a central space for relaxation and entertainment,
furnished with sofas, chairs, etc.
Kitchen
Area for cooking, equipped with stoves, refrigerators,
sinks, and cabinets.
Dining Room
A designated area for formal meals, often furnished with
a dining table and chairs.
Bedroom
A private space for sleeping and relaxation, it has a bed,
wardrobe, dresser, etc.
Bathroom
A room equipped with facilities for personal
hygiene, such as a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower.
Home Office/Study:
A space dedicated to work, studying, often equipped with
a desk, chair, shelves, and computer equipment.
Laundry Room
A space for washing, drying, and ironing clothes,
equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and laundry
sink.
Playroom
A designated area for children to play, equipped with toys
and games.
Guest Room
A bedroom for guests, usually furnished with a bed,
nightstand, etc.
Home Theater
A room designed for watching movies and television,
equipped with a large screen or projector, comfortable
seating, and sound systems.
Exercise Room/Gym
A space dedicated to physical fitness activities, equipped
with exercise machines.
Library
A room for storing and reading books, furnished with
bookshelves, seating, and reading lamps.
Sunroom
A bright, enclosed space with large windows or glass
walls, designed for enjoying sunlight and outdoor views.
Mudroom / Entrance hall
A transitional space between the exterior and interior of
the house, designed for storing outdoor clothing, and
equipment.
Basement/Cellar
An underground space used for storage, utilities, or
additional living space such as a recreation room or home
theater.
