Self-reflection

💡 Description: Describe your project experience in detail, including what happened and your
expectations of what would happen next.
**Helpful questions:
What happened? When and where did it happen?
What did you (and the other people) do?
What did you want to happen?
- Our team worked on a student project to design a concept for an electric vehicle.
The project was part of a course on sustainable technologies, and we had four
weeks to complete it. My role was to research battery technology and present our
findings to the class.

- We aimed to create a well-rounded EV design that highlighted innovation in

energy efficiency and affordability for the average consumer. I hoped for a smooth
collaboration and for our presentation to impress the class and professor.

💡 Feelings and thoughts: Describe your feelings and/or thoughts during the project. Then, state
how they might have impacted the experience.
**Helpful questions:
What were your feelings before, during, and after the project?
What do you think other people felt about the project? What about now?
What were you thinking during the project? What about now?
- I was excited and curious about the topic, but also a bit nervous about the
technical aspects.

- I felt a mix of challenge and satisfaction as I dived into the research. Teamwork
was sometimes frustrating due to different working styles, but overall, I enjoyed
the process.

- I felt proud of our final presentation, although I thought we could have

communicated better as a team during the research phase.

💡 Evaluation: Describe something that worked and did not work in the project.
**Helpful questions:
What was good and bad about the project?
What went well? What didn’t go so well?
What did you and other people contribute to the project (positively or negatively)?
- Our research on battery technology was thorough, and the class responded
positively to the technical aspects of our EV design.

- Coordination between team members was a bit lacking, and we struggled to

manage time effectively toward the deadline.

💡 Analysis: Explain why the project happened in the way you have just described. There is no right
or wrong analysis - just your own analysis.
**Helpful questions:
Why did things go well?
Why didn’t they go well?
Now that you are looking back at the experience. Why do you think things happened the way they
did?
- Our passion for the topic kept us motivated, and we divided tasks based on each
person’s strengths.

- Poor communication and inconsistent meeting times led to confusion about who
was responsible for certain parts of the project.

💡 Conclusion: Summarize what you have learned from the project, how you have learned about
it/them, and what you would do differently in the future.
**Helpful questions:
What did I learn from this project?
How did I learn about it/them?
What else could I have done?
- I learned the importance of better team coordination and communication to
ensure all parts of the project come together smoothly.

- I could have suggested more frequent team check-ins to avoid last-minute stress.

💡Action plan: Describe a plan for how you would work on a similar project in the future or general
changes you might find appropriate.
**Helpful questions:
What would I do differently in a similar project in the future?
What skills do I need to develop for me to handle a project like this better?
How will I develop those skills?
- In future projects, I would establish clearer communication and regular progress
updates within the team.

- I need to improve my leadership and project management skills.

- I plan to take more active roles in group projects and seek feedback from
teammates to enhance my collaboration and leadership abilities.
