1. ‘A’ is accused of a crime. It is shown that soon after the crime he is absconding from his place.

Is this fact relevant? How?(Repeated )


2. ‘A’ a married woman has committed suicide after leaving a note that her husband and his
relatives subjected her to cruelty. Decide the relevancy of the suicide note.
3. ‘A’ agreed in writing to sell a cow to ‘B’ for Rs.20,000/- or Rs.30,000/-. ‘B’ wants to lead
evidence to show the price as Rs.20,000/-. Can he do so?
4. ‘X’ a Lunatic, before dying said that ‘Y’- stabbed him. Is X’s dying declaration admissible.
5. The question is, what was the date of death of Mrs. ‘J’. A letter from Mrs.J’s son-in-law to a
friend, announcing the death of ‘J’ on a particular day, and request to perform the customary
Poojas. Whether it is relevant to identify the date of death of ‘J’.

procured similar poison that which was administered to B. Is this fact relevant?
8. A client sells his property to his advocate and then brings a suit against him for setting aside
the sale on the ground of fraud. On whom the burden of proving the good faith of the
transaction lies? State the reasons.

hidden the weapons used for the offence. Weapons were discovered from that place by the
police. What is the evidentiary value of his statement to police?
10. During the Police custody a beggar was shot by a station house officer. On whom the burden
of proof lies?

“S” lodges a complaint. To prove this “S” files a petition before the court demanding the CCTV
footage to prove his case. Whether P’s office CCTV recordings can be allowed as an evidence?
– Decide.
13. A prosecution witness was asked whether he had quarrelled with the family of the accused
but he denied it. Whether evidence can be adduced to prove the facts of the quarrel?
14. The husband while returning home in two wheeler caused death of a person who was crossing
the road. The husband told the facts to his wife. Whether wife can give evidence against the
husband in court?
15. A, orally tells B that he had seen C murdering D. Decide the admissibility of it.
16. ‘A’ a corona patient before death says that he died because of wrong treatment of doctors. Is
A’s statement admissible?
17. X was not found for 7 years. The court passed a judgement that he died. Later X returned

Can there be a presumption as to abetment of suicide by husband?

that it is genuine and ‘B’ affirms that it is forged. Whether ‘A’ can prove a statement by
himself that the document is genuine and by ‘B’ that the document is forged?

32. A is charged for shooting at B with an intention to kill him. Whether A’s intent may be proved
by the fact of ‘A’ having previously shot at ‘B’.
33. A witness is asked whether he was dismissed from service for dishonesty and he denies it.
Evidence is offered to show that he was dismissed for dishonesty. Discuss the admissibility of
such evidence.
34. ‘A’ sues ‘B’ for the price of goods sold and delivered to ‘B’. ‘C’ says that ‘A ‘ delivered the
goods to ‘B’. Evidence is offered to show that, on a previous occasion, he said that he had not
delivered the goods to ‘B’. Is the evidence of ‘C’ admissible?
