Topic: competitive sports can teach us about life.

In the heat of competition, we don't just face opponents—we face ourselves.

Competitive sports teach us how to push past our limits, rise after failure,
and become better versions of ourselves. These are lessons effects not only
the game, but our entire lives.

we learn a lot of important things during training and playing competitive

sports. And we learn a lot of things that important in our real life.

When we play competitive sports game, we often face nervous and presser
during the game. For example, freekick in soccer or shoot a last shot in
basketball. At that moment, we feel strong nervous and presser and
stressed. Competitive sports teach us how to control that feelings and
express effectively. It doesn’t mean that coaches are teaching us directly. We
learn that during games and practice. For examples, tennis players must
control their feelings and prepare for serve after they lost point. It is exactly
same as real life. When we’re doing exam or interview or assignment, we
face nervous and presser very often. For example, we must control feelings
when we got problem that we don’t know on our exam. Ability to control our
feelings is very important and play a big role to achieving any success on our
life.

We can’t avoid any mistakes in sports games. We miss a game winning shot
or turnover the ball or miss the penalty kick. Many peoples are often feeling
failure and just quit whatever they are doing. But in competitive sports we
focus why we did that mistakes and reflect our mistakes and use as an
opportunity to grow rather than just blame ourselves. For example, after
missing game winning shot in basketball, we practice harder to develop
ourselves. This is very important attitude toward failing. It is very similar with
real life. We don’t let failure make us to give up, we change to opportunity to
develop ourselves. If we did competitive sports, we can be more challenging
and not afraid of failure for our life or career.

And lastly, we learn how to communicate effectively and positively in

competitive sports. Because Team sports require players to communicate
clearly and effectively. Communication is the most important parts of the
sports. Even if they didn’t have any good players in team, if they have good
communication skills and teamwork, they will win the game. During the
game, we are calling for the ball, plays, or supporting teammates.
Through this, we learn the importance of clear and respectful communication
and that good communication is essential for the team to succeed together.
And if we do not have communication skills in real life, if will be very hard to
get a job or go to school. Because we must communicate with each other.

Team sports require you to trust your teammates and believe that they will
do their jobs well. Supporting one another is at the core of teamwork, a very
important value not only in sports but also in life. Although each person has
a specific role on a team, the success of the entire team only occurs when
everyone works together toward a one goal. This provides an opportunity to
collaborate effectively and learn that team success is more important than
individual achievement. And many research prove that the team sports is the
best for the communication skills and sociability.

competitive sports teach us how to control our feelings, overcoming from

failure, how to communicate and work effectively each with others. Which is
very important skills in real life. Therefore, competitive sports teach us about
our life.
