E-AUCTION OF 49 ENEMY PROPERTIES

As per Section 8A of Enemy Property Act, 1968 (as amended) CEPI is

empowered to dispose of Enemy Properties by sale of transfer with prior
approval of Govt. of India. The Section 8A (1) reads as follows:

Notwithstanding anything contained in any judgment, decree or order of any

court, tribunal or other authority or any law for the time being in force, the
Custodian may, within such time as may be specified by the Central
Government in this behalf, dispose of whether by sale or otherwise, as the
case may be, with prior approval of the Central Government, by general or
special order, enemy properties vested in him immediately before the date of
commencement of the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Act,
2017 in accordance with the provisions of this Act, as amended by the Enemy
Property(Amendment and validation) Act, 2017.

A list of 49 Enemy Properties, valued above and below Rs. 1 crore each
recommended by Enemy Property Disposal Committee and approved by the
Competent Authority for sale by e- auction is placed on the following page.

As per the MOU (Agency Sale Agreement) executed by CEPI with MSTC
India Ltd the following 49 Immovable Enemy Property are offered to them for
e-auction with a Notice Period of 21 days commencing from 23.10.2024 to
13.11.2024. The e-auction will take place on 14.11.2024. The terms and
conditions for the e-auction are uploaded on the website of MSTC
bilingually-both in Hindi and English. An advertisement in the local
newspapers will be issued and a Notice Board will be placed on the site of
auction intimating the public about it.
