Intervention and Strategies

To sustain proper waste disposal and ma implement ug tarong ang project, here are the processes and
strategies na buhaton:
1. Assess and conduct a waste audit
 mag conduct ug waste audit para ma identify kung unsa na type sa waste ang usually gina
consume students and teachers and kung paano nila gina dispose ang waste.
2. Address the institutions’ waste disposal policy
 iaddress ang waste policy sa school para smooth ang process sa implementation and para ma
implement ug tarong ang project nga naka inline sya sa guidelines sa school.
3. Conduct an open discussion with the students, faculty, and staff of PHINMA-COC
 diri na part is mag conduct ug open forum/discussion para ma aware ang students and teachers
regarding sa implementation na buhaton. Also, para maka raise sad silag concerns or questions
regarding sa pagabuhaton na project.
4. Installing clearly labeled waste bins for biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable materials
 after sa discussion, iimpose ang pag butang ug waste bins para ma reduce ang gakalat na wastes
sa school. Mas helpful and mas makahatag ug effectivity if anf waste bins is naka label sya
appropriately.
 Green - biodegradable waste like food scraps, paper, and leaves
Yellow - recyclables such as plastics, cans, and cartons
Red - hazardous materials like broken glass, batteries, and chemicals
5. Raise awareness and encourage participation through educational means
 through social media posts, giving of brochures and infographics, maka raise ta ug awareness and
ma educate ang mga students and teachers regarding sa proper waste disposal.
 Maka tabang pud ang interactive methods such as friendly competitions within the campus para
mas ma encourage sila na manglimpyo and mag segregate.
6. Hands-on recycling workshops
 Aside sa pag raise ug awareness, pwede pud ta mag conduct ug recycling workshop para ang
recyclable materials is ma innovate in a way na makatabang sa community.
 Pwede ta mag conduct ug activities like:
a. Eco-bricks – ang plastic bottles is sudlan ug mga shredded non-biodegradable wastes
na magamit to create resuable building blocks for chairs and tables.
b. DIY recycled crafts – ang old paper is pwede nila ma turn into useful school supplies
c. Waste-for-Cash-Program – ang recyclable wastes is pwede sya mabaligya sa
junkshops, and also pwede sad in exchange of snacks or school supplies.
7. Monitoring and Evaluation
 para sa long term efficiency and effectiveness sa project, kailangan nato imonitor ang dagan sa
project and kailangan nato mag seek ug feedback para ma adjust nato ang staretegies na pwede
iapply para mas maging effective pa gyd ang project.
