Project Title: Budgeting for a tour.
Objective:
To create a comprehensive budget for a tour to a specific destination, incorporating various expenses
and mathematical calculations.
Destination: [Choose a place, e.g., Agra, Jaipur, etc.]
Number of persons: 2
Duration: 8 days and 7 nights. (8D/7N)
Reason for Choosing the Destination: Historical significance, cultural importance, educational
value, etc.
Geographical condition of the place.
Budget Allocation: ₹80,000 - ₹1,00,000
Breakdown of Expenses:

1. Commuting and Accommodation:
- Transportation (bus/train/flight): ₹20,000 (Name of travels/ name of the train / name of the
airlines.)
- Accommodation (hotel/hostel with name and pictures.): ₹16,000
- Total: ₹36,000
2. Travel and Food:
- Food and snacks: ₹7,000 (local food with some pictures)
- Sightseeing and entry fees: ₹10,000 (specify name and details of the places you visit along with
some pictures)
- Total: ₹22,000
3. Historical Importance and Activities:
- Guided tour: ₹5,000
- Museum visits: ₹3,000 (name of the museum if any, with pictures)
- Total: ₹8,000
4. Restaurant and Food:
- Meals at specific restaurants: ₹2000 per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Snacks and beverages: ₹3,000
- Total: ₹19,000
Total Budget: ₹80,000 - ₹1,00,000
Mathematical Calculations:
1. Calculate the total cost of commuting and accommodation day wise.
2. Determine the daily budget for food and travel.
3. Find the percentage of the budget allocated for historical importance and activities.
4. Calculate the average cost per meal at the chosen restaurants.
Presentation:
1. Create a detailed itinerary with dates and activities.
2. Include images and maps of the destination.
3. Use charts and graphs to illustrate the budget breakdown.
4. Present the project, on the paper, in a clear and concise manner.
Submit your project on foolscap sheets by 11th June 2025. You may print some pictures on A4
sheets and attach them to the project sheets.
