This event includes technical programming questions solving with fun task. It contains 3 rounds. It
is a individual.

Round I: Quiz on C
Quiz on C– this is one technical quiz on C language
Rules –
- Total of 20 questions will be asked.
- For every correct answer participant will get 2 marks.
- Total 20 questions completed in 20 min.
- The total weightage to the first round is 40 marks.
- In case of any dispute, the judge’s decision will be final.
Round II: Crack The Game
Crack The Game There are 5 games, has puzzles where you must find the path between two points in
a maze - in the least number of moves possible and finding the missing symbol/ visual in a grid based
on a rule-based logic
Rules –
Point’s distribution

- Points will be given to only the correct answer.

- There are 5 games.

- Times for solving game is 2min.


- The decision made by the supervisor will be the final decision. No further changes
will be entertained in the results.

Round III: Surprise round

SolveX: AI Challenge
CSE (AIDS)

Introduction:
SolveX: AI Challenge is a thought-provoking competition that blends problem-solving with AI and
data-driven thinking. It aims to spark innovation among students by engaging them in real-world problem
solving using AI.

This event will have two rounds. Participants will compete in teams (maximum of 2
members). Solo participation is also allowed.

 1st round – AI Quiz Blitz


 2nd round – Innovate with AI– AI for Real Impact

Round I: AI Quiz Blitz


This round tests your fundamental knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning,
Data Science, and Programming (Python) through an MCQ-based quiz.
Rules –
 The quiz will consist of 25 multiple-choice questions.
 Topics include: AI/ML basics, Python, statistics, logic & reasoning, real-world AI applications.
 Time Limit: 30 minutes
 Only one team member will represent the team for this round.
 Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
 No negative marking for wrong answers.
Assessment Criteria –
 Total Marks: 25
 Top 5 scoring teams will qualify for the final round.

Round II: Innovate with AI – AI for Real Impact


In this round, shortlisted teams will select or be assigned a real-world social or global problem
(e.g., climate change, plastic pollution, food wastage, mental health, education inequality, etc.).They
must propose a realistic and implementable AI-based solution supported with data-driven thinking.
Instructions for Teams –
 Prepare a short proposal (ppt or poster) including:
o Problem overview
o Importance and impact of the problem
o Proposed AI/Data Science solution
o Model idea (no coding needed, just conceptual)
o Data requirements and potential sources
o Real-world feasibility and limitations
 Time to prepare: 1 hour
 Teams will get 10 minutes to present the solution to judges.
 Presentation format can be verbal with a rough chart/ppt/visual aid.

Assessment Criteria –

Objective:

The aim of TECHNOVA-C 2K24 is to motivate students to use their technological expertise to tackle real-

This event includes technical questions solving with fun tasks. It contains 3 rounds. It can

Round I: Snippets & Quiz


There is a question paper of 30 questions, and each question has four options. Each question
carries 2 mark
Rules:
1. A total of 30 questions will be asked
2. For every correct answer will get 2 points.
3. The time limit is 30min.
4. The total weightage to the first round is 60 points.

Round II: Complete the Program


The problem statement and output of the program are provided with a partially completed
program. You should complete their program and run it successfully.
Rules:
1. Setup will be provided by our team.
2. Every candidate completes the task in the given time.
3. 10 students will be selected from this round.
4. The decision made by the supervisor will be the final decision.
No further changes will be entertained in the results.

Round III: Hands-on Coding


Problem statements with test cases and the output of the program will be provided. The
candidate should pass maximum test cases.
Rules:
1. Setup will be provided by our team.
2. Every candidate must complete the task in the given time.

Entry Fees: Rs. 100 per participant

Introduction:
This event includes technical questions solving with fun tasks. It contains 3 rounds. It is a team
event. Each team should contain a maximum of 2 participants. It can also participate individually.

- 2nd round – Instrument Puzzle
- 3rd round - Survey Treasure Hunt

Round I: Quiz Competition


Round 1 will comprise of an MCQ exam. The questions asked will be in written format, the
questions asked will be based on Civil Engineering concepts.
Rules –
- A total of 20 questions will be asked
- One representative form your team will appear for the exam.
- For every correct answer team will get 1 mark.
- Negative marking are not allotted for wrong answer.
- Exam time will be 30 minutes

Round II: Instrumental Puzzle


Each team will receive a picture of an instrument/machine cut into pieces. The teams must reassemble
the pictures to their original form in 15 minutes. The pictures are related to Civil Engineering.
Rules –
- Participants must bring their own required tools for the puzzle round such as glue, scissors, tape, etc.
- The time limit is 15 minutes for the puzzle.
- The pictures will be given by a lucky draw.

Round III: Survey Treasure Hunt


At start we will provide riddle to the participants which will give them a hint to the location of the next
riddle. The team which will arrive to the end first will be considered the winner.
Rules –
- Outside interference with teams in their riddle or any form of assistance will be considered as immediate
disqualification
- Sabotaging the teams and any form of cheating will not be tolerated and required action will be taken.
COMMON RULES FOR PARTICIPANTS:

- The first-round team with more marks will be eligible for the second round and same will
be done for the teams in second round.
- A team can consist maximum 2 members and minimum 1 member.
- The task should be completed within the given time limit.
- Any form of misconduct of cheating will be considered for immediate disqualification.
- Use of mobile, smart watch or any electronic device is prohibited during the exam/task.

Round 1 will comprise of an MCQ exam. The questions asked will be in Written format, the
questions asked will be based on basic electrical & Front end Development.

Rules –
- A total of 25 questions will be asked
For every correct answer team will get 1 mark.
- Negative marking are not allotted for wrong answer.
- Exam time will be 30 minutes
Round II: Web Development using AI

Rules –
1 Subject Selection : Three subjects will be provided; participants must choose one.
2 Duration : 90 minutes
3 Technology : Use AI tools along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for
frontend development.
4 Judging : Final decisions will be made by the judges.
