For the Barangay Officials:
The barangay officials encouraged to update the city government about the project for the solar
streetlights to be installed. They should keep planning and preparing for the alternative streetlight
project while waiting for the release of the budget for the solar streetlights. They should survey and
determine which areas need lights the most and make a simple plan. They should try to work with
private groups or nearby offices for help and make sure to follow the rules set by COMELEC during the
election period.
For the Purok Leaders:
The purok leaders/officials encouraged to help the barangay by telling them which areas in their purok
are dark or unsafe. They should work together with the barangay officials and share information with
their neighbors. They will encourage community people to participate join efforts like volunteer groups
or cleaning events.
For the People of the Community:
To the community people encouraged to support the project by helping in barangay activities like
fundraising or volunteer patrols. They should take care of the solar lights that are already there and
report any broken lights or unsafe places to the barangay or purok leaders.
For the City Government:
To City Government encouraged to support the barangay by offering help like extra materials needed or
guidance. You can also help by talking to private companies or organizations for support during the
election ban. After the ban is over, help the barangay start the project quickly so that the lights can be
installed.
