2 Ensure the availability of Fire extinguishers and emergency exits plan. LO
3 Make sure sufficient illumination is available in switchgear LO
4 Ensure the availability of PPE's like Arc Suit, HT gloves and face shield, etc. LO
5 Ensure earth mats are available in front of 11 KV Panel. LO
Ensure earth trunk if inserted is removed and all temporary earthings are

removed.
Ensure 11 KV board all incoming and outgoing feeders backside doors are
7 LO
boxed up.
Ensure 11 KV board DC supply source 1 & 2 in DCDB and illumination &
8 LO
space heater supply in ON condition.
Ensure all outgoing feeders in 11 KV Board are in 'OFF"condition (i.e.
9 LO
breaker should be in open condition)
Check Buscoupler is open and its DC control supply should be in ON
10 LO
condition.
11 Ensure Bus PT and Line PT are put in service. LO
Ensure CHP transformers is in charged condition and line voltages in 11 KV
12 LO
incomer are normal.
Ensure 11 KV incomer breaker is in open condition and breaker
13 LO
compartment door is properly closed.
14 Check 86 lockout relay is in reset condition. LO
15 Ensure No Protection alarms persist in Numerical Relay LO
Put 11 KV incomer selector switch in local position and switch ON DC
16 LO
control supply
17 Wear Arc Suit, face shield and HT gloves and then Rack in the breaker. LO
After rack in, ensure the following indication LEDs are glowing in incomer
panel ;
●circuit breaker open
●breaker in service
18 LO
●spring charge
●TCS healthy
●PT in service
●86 healthy
19 Put 11 KV incomer selector switch in remote LO
Stand to any one side of incomer breaker and give clearence to control
20 LO
room for closing the breaker.
21 Ensure incomer breaker feedbacks are available in DCS DE
Ensure CB reset is done in DCS and now select the 11 KV incomer breaker
22 DE
to be closed in DCS.
23 Give close command from DCS. DE
Ensure 11 KV incomer breaker is closed and breaker ON indication is
24 LO
glowing in switchgear.
25 Ensure 11 KV incomer breaker close feedback in DCS. DE
26 Check bus voltages in Bus PT are normal. LO
