Synopsis
A group comes to a village resort for a day's outing. Melange of people of different age groups with their
pranks, frolics, idiosyncrasies and pasts. In the village they come to know about a legend. There is a
large water body called Torulatar Dighi, where the ghost of Torulata lurks beneath the dark water and
kills boys. And the group,which is supposed to return to Kolkata that evening, gets stranded in the
resort owing to a road block. In the resort they met Patta, a village idiot who is basically a freeloader. He
tells them about his cousin Monoroma( Basabdutta Chattopaadhyaay), who is the younger sister of
murdered Torulata. Monoroma, who believes that she is married to the God, dances at a decrepit temple
in the full moon night and Patta plays the rhythm. The come to know more about Torulata's murder from
a village poet who sings song about the fateful incident. In the afternoon, the manager of the resort take
them to visit Torulata's dighi. In the night a crisis arises as Tublu, the only child member of the group
gets an acute asthma attack. Kamakali (Isha Saha), a medical intern,comesout of her traumatic past of
being brutally gang raped in a shuttle taxi and takes the helm and treats Tublu, thanks to the pep talk of
Sayan (Rahul Dev Bose), the protagonist. Patta gets a seizure of fit while showing tricks to the assorted
group at campfire. Vicky Ghosh ( Indraneil Sengupta), the NRI who comes with the group as prospective
fund provider goes to Torulata's dighi to confront the ghost of Torulata an unearths the mystery.

INDRANEIL SENGUPTA is an Indian television and
film actor. He starred in Bollywood movies Mumbai Salsa
and Kahaani. In 2008, he starred in a bengali movie
JANALA directed by Buddhadeb Dasgupta. Later
upcoming years he has done a lot of work in Television as
well as in Movies like MULK , KAHAANI, 1920,

who mainly works in Bengali television serials. She
made her debut in the popular soap GAANER
OPAREY directed by Rituparno Ghosh. She starred in
a lead role alongside her co-actor was Ritwick
Chakraborty in the movie ASHA JAOAR MAJHE

ISHAA SAHA is an Indian actress who mainly works in
Bengali cinema She started her career with Bengali television
as a lead with Projapoti Biskut directed by Anindya
Chatterjee. She acted in all the movies directed by filmmaker
Dhrubo Banerjee starting from Guptodhoner Sondhane and
Durgeshgorer Guptodhon and recently the magnum opus
Golondaaj.

dozen other endorsements and television commercials.
Primarily known for his roles on TV, in shows such as
Prothhoma Kadombini (Star Jalsa),and Bajlo Tomar Alor
Benu (Star Jalsha) amongst others. He has also acted in
various roles in films such as Uma (2018) a film by Srijit
Mukherjee Kuler Aachar (ZEE5 release)(2021)
