HOLIDAY HOMEWORK

MATHS –
1. Draw a mini city on a chart. Every building has a 4-digit house number.
Police Station: 5321 Hospital: 2450 School: 3701 Library: 9800
Under each, write: Number name , Place value of each digit. Which digit is the biggest?
2. Do Chapter -1,2 and 3 in workbook .
3. Learn and write multiplication tables from 2 to 20 in maths notebook .
4. Practice all the work done in book and notebook .
SCIENCE -
1. Make a colorful poster showing how science is used in daily life (e.g., brushing teeth,
cooking, electricity, mobile phones).
a. Use drawings or magazine cut-outs.
2. Observe a plant near your home or garden for 7 days.
a. Draw the plant and label its parts (root, stem, leaves, flower).
b. Write what changes you notice each day (e.g., new leaves, blooming flowers, etc.).
c. Mention how you took care of it (water, sunlight).
3. Learn the work done in book and notebook.
SST –
1. Draw or print a map of India and do the following:-
a. Mark and color the states and union territories.
b. Mark the capital city of India.
c. Draw the Ganga river and Himalayan mountain range.
2. Learn the work done in book and notebook .
HINDI (I) –
1. हिंदी 1-
पाठ 1 - दिए का अभिमान
पाठ 2- बया का घर
दोहराइये और याद कीजिए I
2. हिंदी 2 -
पाठ 1 - भाषा ,लिपि और व्याकरण
पाठ 2 -- वर्ण विचार
दोहराइये और याद कीजिए I

3. पांच पर्यायवाची शब्द ,पांच विलोम शब्द ,पांच मुहावरे और उनके अर्थ +
वाक्य बनाकर लिखे I
4. एक कविता लिखिए और उसका चित्र बनाइए I
5. डिजिटल इंडिया पर अनुच्छेद लिखिए I
6. एक चित्र बनाकर उसका वर्णन कीजिए कुछ पंक्तियों में कीजिए I

ENGLISH -
1.Read chapter - 3 and 4 of English Literature and write the summary of each chapters.
2.Underline any new words and write their meanings (chapter 3 and 4.)
3.Write a paragraph (8–10 lines) on each of the following:
i. My Favourite Season.
ii. How I Spent My Holidays.
4. Revise ch-Sentences, Subject and Predicate, Nouns and Pronouns.
5. Choose 10 new words . Write each word, its meaning, and use it in a sentence
6. Write one page daily in cursive writing to improve your hand writing.
7. Learn all the work done in book and notebook.
Note - All the work should be done in a separate copy.
G. K -
1. Revise all the work of GK book and notebook.
2. Make a colourful chart of 10 countries & write their capitals .
3. Write 5- 7 lines about your state ( name ,capital ,famous places ,food and language )
4. Draw & Paste pictures of any 5 national symbols .
Art -
1. Use waste materials like plastic bottles ,old CDs,buttons ,or boxes to create a pencil
holder or decorative peace .
2. Collect 2- 3 stones & paint fun faces or animals on them .
3. Create a greeting card for your parents.

COMPUTER –
1.Name any 5 software and hardware devices.
2. What is the difference between input and output devices?
3. Learn Q/A of ch- 1 .
4. Write 6 places where computer is used.
