Dear Students,

It is summer time again and as the sun climbs the summit in the sky, the
school heralds the onset of summer vacation. To keep the spirit of learning
alive in our children, we have compiled a string of activities in each subject.
Hope the brief summer break proves to be educative as well as joyous.

E.V.S
Activity 1:

Go shopping with your mother when she goes to buy the household
goods. At home, divide the things that you bought under the following
two categories

1. Things we get from plants

2. Things we get from animals

Note-: Prepare the list and paste the pictures on a A-4 size coloured
sheets.
Activity 2:

Draw and write five good food habits.

Paste the wrappers of junk food and write why should we avoid eating
junk food.

Activity 3:

Make earth-friendly masterpieces with art materials like old


magazines, playing cards, scraps of cloth, wallpaper, buttons (It may
seem odd, but you'll sure end up with something really special!
Note- This activity is for roll no 1-22

Maths
Make an interesting board game using numbers 1 50. Write the rules and
instructions how to play.
Or
Use the four basic shapes to make 3 different figures separately on a chart
paper.

Hindi
1. Revise picture conversation from pages 6 to 11.(Bhasha Setu)

2. Read books with simple 2, 3 and 4 letter words.

3. Practice handwriting 1 page at least three times a week in rough


notebook. Stress on neatness and correct formation.
4. Make a booklet of A 4 size coloured sheets. Write and learn at least 5
7 new words for the given swar. Paste pictures related to the same and
decorate it.

Write few lines on your new school.

Make a booklet of 26 pages and name each page with an alphabet i.e.
A- Z. Collect the pictures and paste them according to the alphabetical
order and write its name.
(Paste at least 2-3 pictures of a particular alphabet)

Read any two good books of your choice.

Prepare a bookmark with the name of the book you have read written
behind.

Remember books are our constant companions.


A/V State ten good habits / good manners in your separate activity

Watch Bob the Builder series and draw the character of Bob and write five
lines about him in your activity notebook. (inter-leaf notebook)

ART AND CRAFT


Dear students, to make your holidays fun and creative here are some art
and craft projects given below with reference pictures for you, we hope
you will have fun doing all these activities.: -

CLASS-1
1. Any two compositions by giving Thumb/ finger impressions :-
My favorite dress
Flower vase
Butterfly on a flower

Note: - Use A-3 size cartridge / pastel sheet for each composition. Give proper
border and outline. Write your name & class details at the back of the sheet/
2. Make a pencil stand with waste material like dahi cup/ noodle cup, shells,
buttons, straws, pebbles, waste cloth piece, old greeting card cutouts, ribbons,
pencil-shavings, bangles, ice-cream spoons, wool, crafty eyes etc...
