scolding words above them (like “Padho!”, “Marks?”, “Fail again?”).

✍️ Poem 1: "Coach Karan" (A person who motivated me)

Coach Karan, with his whistle bright,
Taught me to chase dreams, not just the light.
While numbers danced and mocked my mind,
He said, “In the court, your rhythm you’ll find.”

Sweat, not tears, he’d always say,

“In every serve, push fear away.”
With every spike, I felt more free,
Volleyball became the best part of me.

Now when I fail a test, I don’t hide,

I face it strong, with Karan by my side—
In thoughts, in words, his lessons stay:
“Fall, get up, and fight your way!”

✍️ Poem 2: "Where the Sea Chants Prayers" (A place remembered for its beauty)
Jagannath Puri, where the waves bow low,
To gods above and sands that glow.
The temple stands in golden grace,
While the ocean winds kiss your face.

The scent of flowers, the sound of bells,

In every corner, a story dwells.
Children laugh, the breeze is wise,
And faith floats under endless skies.

I stood there still, as the sky turned red,

My worries silent, my doubts all fled.
Puri, you are a peaceful flame,
Whispering softly, my soul’s name.

✍️ Poem 3: "Mere Kaan Pak Gaye" (A childhood memory that made me sad)
“Marks? Again?” the voices shout,
Their angry words swirl all about.
I try, I try, but can't explain,
That books and sums just bring me pain.

“Padh likh ke kya banega?” they say,

While I just wish they’d look my way.
Not with scorn, but just with care—
Not every child shines in a test’s glare.

My ears ache not from noise alone,

But from the silence I face alone.
Still, I hold my dreams so tight,
Maybe one day, they’ll see my light.

📚 Back Cover Blurb:

“Echoes of My Heart” is a window into the soul of a young dreamer—torn between
expectations and passions, memories and aspirations. These poems reflect the
strength found in unlikely mentors, the peace of a sacred place, and the ache of
misunderstood childhood. Let every word take you closer to your own echoes.
