Subject: Update on Scheme of Demerger amongst
Century Textiles and Industries Limited ("Century") and UltraTech Cement Limited
("UltraTech") and their respective shareholders and creditors ("Scheme")

This has reference to our letter dated 301h September, 2019, informing you about the
effectiveness of the Scheme.

In terms of the Scheme, the Company has on 161h October, 2019, allotted 1,39,61,960 equity
shares of Rs. 10/- each to the shareholders of Century in the ratio of 1 (one) equity share of
Rs. 10/- each of the Company for every 8 (eight) equity shares of Rs. 10/- each held in Century
as on the Record Date i.e. 141h October, 2019.

On allotment, the equity share capital of the Company stands increased to 28,86, 13,666 equity
shares of� 10/- each aggregating to � 2,88,61,36,660/-.

Applications are being submitted for listing of these shares on the exchanges.
