Honourable chair, fellow delegated and esteemed guests
Namaste!
I am Bhupendra the patel the current chief minister of Gujarat.
As a member of Bharatiya Janata party ( BJP). I strongly insist that autonomy should not be
restored at any cost. Abrogation must remain permanent. In the BJP’s framework, the fact
that kashmir belongs to India must remain non-negotiable and above all terrorism must be
addressed before any other official talks begin.
Unlike other political leaders, I strictly focus on seriousness, preparedness and unity in
response amidst the rising tensions.
Highlighting pakistan’s internal instability,
I would urge pakistan to first focus on their economic crisis, secretarian violence, human
rights concern, instead of spending their money on terrorism like a coward.
We wouldn’t like an emporer with no clothes on him to teach us what to do and what not to
do, right ?
And that is PAKISTAN, my dear fellow delegates.
I strongly reject international intervention in favour of direct bilateral communication. As
reiterated by the prime minister of india, that ceasefires and any resolution must be
accomplished directly without any external mediation.
Now, stepping into the strategical solutions for this chaos;
I would suggest That we as Indians should not be open to any kind of discussions or
agreements with pakistan unless and until they stopped their cowardly terror attacks.
Underlining the party’s slogan “ terror and talks cannot go together!”
We have a great history and record of multiple ceasefires and agreements with pakistan
which ultimately led us as indians to suffer the consequences which we weren’t
responsible for at the first place.
Instead of holding direct meeting with them. Which is never going to work, no matter what
or how!
Hence, I respectfully suggest, India to collaborate with the world leaders to combat
terrorism in Pakistan and most importantly to create a sense of pressure on Pakistan
especially on terrorist camps.
“Rotten minds always spread smell”
We as responsible indians must take serious and effective steps globally to eliminate these
rotten minds out there!!
Lastly I would like to conclude my speech with a quote:
“India’s blood is not meant to be shed. Anyone who dares to do so will be punished.”
