(PTW)
The Permit to Work (PTW) System and associated safety rules is a formal and controlled
process that ensures that appropriate precautions and control measures are implemented to
avoid inherent danger and for safe completion of the work. The Permit form is a declaration
issued by Permit Issuer (PI) to Permit Receiver (PR) that states the nature of the work to be
undertaken, the period during which the work may take place and the measures to be taken.
