Can Tho city

General information:
- Can Tho is a city in the former Can Tho province and was the capital of Can
Tho province before the establishment of Can Tho city directly under the
central government. Can Tho city at that time had an administrative
boundary corresponding to the districts of Ninh Kieu, Binh Thuy, part of Cai
Rang district and part of Phong Dien district today.

1) Cai Rang float market


- As a floating market on the river, trading activities are held on boats full of
excitement, bearing the unmistakable culture of the Western river.
- Cai Rang floating market not only shows the daily life of the people here but
also exudes a rustic, simple and close character that makes visitors
unforgettable.
- The items sold on the market are mainly agricultural products and fruits
grown by local people. Activities of the market usually take place from 4:30
to 8 am
2) Ninh Kieu Wharf

- This is the iconic landmark of Can Tho city. Ninh Kieu Wharf dates from
the 19th century, also known as Can Tho Park.
- No one comes to Can Tho without setting foot in this famous tourist
destination of Can Tho because of its harmonious scenery, located between
the confluence of Can Tho and Hau rivers. From here, you can also easily
move to other Can Tho tourist destinations
- Inside Ninh Kieu wharf park area, there is also Thuy Ta restaurant with

many delicious and unique dishes waiting for visitors.

3) Ong Pagoda
- Ong Pagoda is one of the spiritual and religious places and is also a tourist
attraction in Can Tho that is interested by many tourists. With beautiful
architecture and located in the city center, you must definitely visit this place
when coming to Can Tho.
- With bold Asian architecture, with Chinese characteristics, Ong Pagoda is an
ideal check-in place for tourists.
- The pagoda appears brilliant, eye-catching but still ensures the majesty,
ancient, true spiritual space.
- This is also a place that attracts many tourists every year to pray according
to Vietnamese spiritual culture.

4) Can Tho Bridge


- A bridge near Ninh Kieu wharf, just built a few years ago. 200m long,
more than 7m wide, with led and negative lights under the bridge, with the
highlight of 2 lotus flowers in the middle of the bridge body.
- Standing from the bridge, you can see the whole scene of Ninh Kieu wharf,
Hau river every morning and evening, there are shimmering lights, this is
also an ideal check-in place for young people.
