Certificate Course in Hardware and Basic Networking


Course Objective: course provides foundational understanding of hardware components, how to
assemble a desktop computer. The Course will help you to learn about basic network addressing,
network device connections and configuration.

Course Outcome: On completion you will get “Certificate in Hardware and Basic Networking”.
This certificate will help you in finding placement as Network engineer. Also you will be able to start
your own hardware and Networking Company.

Eligibility Criteria: - Minimum SSC (10th) passed or appearing.

of the instructors by Maintaining Project Dairy on daily practical assignments completed
using actual Hardware components.
Module 1:– Computer and Hardware Fundamentals
 Computer Fundamentals.
 Basics of computer hardware.
 Booting process, BIOS.
 Different Types of Cache, Buses, Motherboards, Processors, RAM, ROM etc.
 Different Types of Expansion Slots, Expansion Cards.

Module 2:– Assembling of Desktop Computer


 Assembling of Motherboards, Floppy & CD drives Hard disk on Latest Cabinets
& Motherboards.
 Total Assembling Of Computer
 Usage of Multimeter, Voltages In SMPS, Beep Codes.
 Jumper Settings, Master & Slave Settings, BIOS Settings.
Module 3:- OS Installation
 Hard disk Partition, formatting HD.
 Windows Partition through Text & Graphical Mode.
 Windows 7 / 10 Installation
 Drivers Installation, Application Software Installation.
 Virus, Antivirus Software & Removing Viruses.

Module 4:– Networking


 Basics of Networking, Types of Network Devices Hub, Cable, Connectors, LAN
Cards etc.
 Peer-to-Peer Networking Through Windows.
 Software Proxy.
 Local Area Network (LAN) Setup
 Cabling Using CAT 5 Cable, Crimping tool Usage.
