1. Rape (Sec 63)

It’s define about Rape, Against her will, without her consent, with or without
her consent when she is <18yrs, Unsound mind, Intoxication, unable
communicate consent, etc.,

2. Punishment (Sec 64)

10 yrs < Imprisonment of life and also liable for fine.

ii. Public servant
iii. Institution staff

v. Rape during communal
vi. If she pregnant at the time
vii. Incapable of giving consent
3. Sec 65
i. Woman <16 age, 20yrs < Imprisonment of life, and also fine for victims
medical Expences.
ii. Woman <12 age, 20yrs < Imprisonment of life (Remainder his natural
life) with fine or Death sentence.
4. Causing Death (Sec 66)
20yrs < Imprisonment of life (Remainder his natural life) with fine or Death
sentence.

5. Intercourse at the time of separation (Sec 67)

Imprisonment 2yrs < 7yrs.

6. Intercourse by a person in authority (Sec 68)

It’s not amounting to offence of Rape but it’s misusing his power to benefit of
this activity. 2Yrs < 7Yrs also liable for fine.

7. Intercourse by employing Deceitful (Sec 69)

Without any intention of fulfilling his promise - has sexual intercourse her –
it’s not amounting to the offence of Rape – upto 10 yrs. Imprisonment – liable
for fine.

8. Gang Rape (Sec 70)

One woman too many persons involved common intention – it’s amounting to
offence of rape - 20yrs < Imprisonment of life(Remainder his natural life), and
also fine for victims medical Expences.

9. Repeat Offender (Sec 71)

If a person – already convicted – under sec 64, 65, 66 & 70 – if any one section
- Imprisonment of life(Remainder his natural life), and death sentence.

10. Disclosure of Idebtity of Victim (Sec 72)

If any one publish victim’s name or identity – the offence under sec 64 to 71 –
upto 2 yrs liable for fine.

11. Without permission Publishing (Sec 73)

Court proceedings & relating matter – if publish without permission - upto 2


yrs liable for fine.
