BACKGROUND
The evaporative emission (EVAP) control diagram in the service manual is missing information on the purge joint.

DESCRIPTION
The purge joint does not have any moving or mechanical parts and acts as a resonator to eliminate pulsations and noise
caused by the opening and closing of the EVAP canister purge valve.
