Scene #1:
A dimly lit casino, the sounds of chips clinking and slot machines ringing
fill the air.

Cris: (Leaning over the table) I can feel it! This next hand is going to be
a winner.

Nicole: (smirking) You said that last time, and you lost everything.

Cris: Yeah, but this time is different. Just watch!

Dealer: Place your bets, folks.

Nicole: (rolling their eyes) Alright, I’ll bet you five bucks you’ll bust
again.

Cris: You’re on! And when I win, I’m taking you to dinner.

Nicole: Deal! Just don’t blame me when you’re broke.

Dealer: Cards out!

Scene #2:

Nicole: I can’t shake the weight of my unpaid bills. Each one feels like a
reminder of my reckless choices. I chase the thrill of the casino, the rush
of winning, but all I’ve found is this sinking despair. The more I gamble,
the deeper I fall, and now the pressure is unbearable. I keep telling
myself it’ll get better, but deep down, I know I’m trapped in this cycle.
How did I let it come to this?

Scene #3:

Nicole: AAAAAHHHHHHHH! What did I dooo?!?!

Scene #4:

Nicole: (Thinking what to do) I think it’s time to be honest with him; I
need to lay everything out on the table. I’ll draft an agreement sheet that
clearly outlines my plan to pay off my debt little by little, which proves
that he understands and accepted our deal. It feels like it is the only way
to rebuild trust and take responsibility for my actions, even if it’s
daunting.
Scene #5:

Cris: I can’t believe she just disappeared. One minute, I was trying to
help her, and now she’s gone, leaving me with all this debt. I’m furious—
how could she do this? I trusted her and believed her promises. Now I feel
betrayed, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get my money back. She will regret
that she deceived me.

Scene #6: (Staring at the empty shelves of her kitchen, panic set in)

Nicole: I had eaten the last of the rice yesterday and now there was
nothing left. No snacks, no essentials. I knew I couldn’t put it off any
longer; I had to face the world outside. The thought of stepping out into
the bustling streets made me anxious, but I needed food. Haaayyyy.

Scenes #7, #8,#9 (Victim passing in front of the church with tense music)

Scene #10:

Victim (Nicole): UGH

Scene #11:

Mastermind (Cris): Nice! You did a very great job! Here's my payment for
that successful mission.

Scene #12:
(shakehands)
Scene #13:

Teenager (Lucille): (*/vlogging) Hi, guys! Welcome to my vlog, so here I'm

at San Concepcion Santo Domingo. I found this abandoned church--

Teenager: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (very loud scream)

Teenager: Oh my God..No way...

Scene #14:

Reporter:
A community is in shock tonight following the tragic discovery of a young
girl found dead inside an abandoned church.

Police have confirmed that the victim, whose identity has not yet been
released, was found with a fatal stab wound to her neck earlier this
morning.

Reporter (voice-over):
The body was discovered by a local resident who was passing by the
abandoned church.

According to law enforcement, the girl, believed to be in her early teens,

had likely been dead for several hours before her body was found. Police
are treating this case as a homicide, and investigators are working
tirelessly to gather clues from the scene.

Reporter:
As investigators comb the area for evidence, the small community is left
reeling from this terrible tragedy. Neighbors describe the abandoned church
as a place that had been vacant for years but occasionally attracted
trespassers.

Teenager (Lucille):
It’s heartbreaking. I can’t imagine what the family is going through right
now. This is the kind of thing you hear about in other places, not here.

Reporter:
That’s the latest on this breaking story. We will continue to follow
updates as they come in. Reporting live from ABC News Live, I am Kai
Hemsworth.

Scene #15:

Setting: A small police station, the girl sits nervously across from an
officer.

Officer 1: So, you said you found a body? Can you tell me exactly what
happened?

Teenager: I was just walking by the abandoned church when I noticed

something lying on the ground. At first, I thought it was a mannequin, but
then I saw it was a girl.

Officer 2: Did you see anyone else around? Any signs of a struggle?

Teenager: No, it was just… so quiet. I didn’t touch anything; I was too
scared. I just ran here to report it.

Officer 1: Good thinking. Can you describe the girl? What was she wearing?

Teenager: She was wearing white shirt, and her hair was not that long. I
think… she looked really young.

Officer 2: Okay, we’re going to send someone to check it out. You did the
right thing by coming here. Just stay calm.

Teenager: I just can’t believe this happened. It feels so unreal.

Scene #16: (Officers at the crime scene investigating)

Officer 1: Oh my God, poor woman.

Scene #17: (Putting pictures of possible suspects)

Scene #18: (Senate Hearing)

Setting: A Senate hearing room, two senators seated at the front, and three
individuals—an ex-boyfriend (Kean), the active player (Alissa), and a
friend of the victim (Ella) at the witness stand.

Senator 1: Thank you all for attending today. We’re investigating the
circumstances surrounding the death of the young woman. Let’s start with
you, Mr. Kean, her ex-boyfriend. Where were you on the night she died?

Kean: I was at home. We had a fight earlier that week about her gambling,
but I never thought it would come to this.

Senator 2: You had a motive, didn’t you? She was taking money from you to
feed her addiction.

Kean: I was frustrated, but I would never hurt her! I loved her.

Senator 1: Ms. Ella, you’re a friend of the victim. What can you tell us
about her state of mind?

Ella: She was really struggling. The gambling was out of control. I tried
to help her, but she kept pushing everyone away.
Senator 2: How about you Alissa? You had a financial interest in her,
didn’t you? How much did she owe you?

Alissa: She owes me nothing. I didn’t kill her!

Alissa: People owe me all the time. It’s business. I’m not a murderer.

Senator 2: Yet you admit to exploiting her addiction. How is that

different?

Ella: She was drowning, and instead of helping her, you just took
advantage.

Kean: We all wanted to help her, but she was too far gone. None of us
wanted to witness her death.

Senator 2: We’re here to find the truth. Your words will have consequences.

Senator 1: We need to address this. Thank you for the information.

Senator 2: Exactly. Each of you plays a role in this tragedy. We will

continue our investigation and hold those responsible accountable.

Scene #19:

Officer 1: Alright, let’s review the suspects. Who do you think it is?

Officer 2: I’m leaning towards the ex-boyfriend. He was acting really

nervous at the scene.

Officer 1: True, but remember the woman? She was too calm, almost like she
was watching everything unfold.

Officer 2: Good point. But the hoodie was seen near the alley where the
suspect fled. That’s a strong connection.
Officer 1: That’s fair. Still, the woman could be involved, maybe as a
lookout. Did you catch her looking around?

Officer 2: Yeah, she was scanning the area. But what about the her?
(Alissa) She was standing too close to the action.

Officer 1: Right, but she could just be a bystander. We need more on him.

Officer 2: Agreed. Let’s pull surveillance footage and see who gets close
to the scene before the incident.

Officer 1: Good idea. We’ll figure this out. Let’s stay sharp.

Scene #20: (Possible suspect going to the supreme court)

Scene #21: (Judge Decision)

Judge (Ayessa): (Announcing)

Ladies and gentlemen of the court, after careful consideration of the
evidence presented, the arguments made both made by the prosecution and the
defense, the testimonies provided by the witness, it is now my duty to
deliver the verdict.
Alissa Laurent, you have been charged with one count of murder. After
reviewing the facts, the court has beyond found the reasonable doubt that
you are guilty of this crime. The evidence against you has been clear and
convincing, your actions directly contributed the offense in question,
despite the efforts of your defense, the weight of the prosecution case
collaborated Lucille Hamilton has led the court to this conclusion.
Alissa Laurent, Guilty.
