Selena s p.o.v I walk into the dainty and simple coffee shop that I always get my morning coffee
from. I look around in the shop seeing all the familiar elderly faces. I never bother to say a word
to any of them but smile. I just don t feel the need to socialize at 9 o clock am when I m an
enervated mess. They re all usually eating their breakfast or reading their daily newspaper
anyways. Not so many young people come here but me. It s either the shop s unappealing aspect or
the coffee isn t really good, is to blame for the lack of attracting young customers. I admit the coffee
isn t of the highest quality in the java world but it s cheap. My taste buds have gotten used to the
taste, though. Tapping my fingers along the brown... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Holy beauty! This man is a distraction that for a second it felt like the world had just froze. My
eyes are fixated on him standing before me. My mind keeps running two words over and over
again, fuck me . I can already sense the moisture soaking my panties. God this man s eyes are
beautiful, golden shining brown eyes that can burn holes through my body. His sharp define
jawline that I wouldn t mind tracing with my fingers delicately. His hair, his lips, his tattoos on
his arms, his built body shape. He has the most amazing physical features that I m literally
mesmerized. His strong ascendancy seemed to have taken a fast toll on me. Men like him are,
dangerous. Miss? he speaks up with a voice that creates a shiver to run down my spine. What did
I just say? This man is dangerous. I shake my head quickly to release any sexual thoughts right
now. I should be angry. No, I should be furious. He wasted my money, ruined my clothes, and
soon enough maybe will ruin my panties. Gathering all the confidence that I can find in myself, I
look at the piece of art in front of me. Y Yes? I stutter out, immediately wanting to slap myself for
coming off like some kid who just got lectured and is too scared to make any peep. I apologize for
this mess but I ve only got 10 minutes until I m late to my meeting, he speaks with such dominance
in his tone that it s actually turning me on. His eyes are on me with a way that shows fascination.

                         Federalists Vs Anti Federalism Essay
Introduction: In this essay there will be a discussion of how the agreement of the production and
assembly of the U.S. Constitution formed the unindustrialized of two, opposite political parties, the
Federalists and Antifederalists. It will also touch on how the original thirteen colonies wanted to
ratify the U.S. Constitution and how one of these two groups made letters and political papers
public for all to read and understand. There will also be a discussion on how each contributed to the
formatting of America and some of the main players that were involved.
How do Federalists and Anti federalists plan to organize the federal government?

The Federalists could reached across the nation with their points and messages unlike their
opponents. They felt as if there should be a check and balance within the government that would
allow the country to thrive and grow. They wanted to insure that the joining of all the nations as
one large country under a power that could be dispensed between multiple parties within itself;
therefore, not allowing too much control by any one group. While there were a lot of things that
could be viewed as not in favor of the commoner or the poor they were still the lesser of two evils.
They stood for that they felt was right not just for the nation but also for the everyday citizen
including the ones deemed to be only property.
Conclusion:
The time of the U.S. Constitution and Articles of Confederation was a time of death, passion, and
promises. The Federalists and the Anti Federalists wanted a lot of things that were similar, but didn t
know how to get them without debating, arguing, and compromising to the point of almost
uncomfortably. As the Alexander Hamilton wrote It is of great importance in a republic not only to
guard the society against the oppression of its rulers, but to guard one part of the society against the
injustice of the other part (ConstitutionSociety,
General Information about Foams to Exinguish Fires
General Information about Foams Fire fighting foams are generally used to extinguish liquid
spill fires. When the flammable liquid is water soluble, it will be diluted rendering the
flammability to be nothing, but water alone cannot be used for many reasons. If the spilled liquid
is lighter than water and insoluble in water, it will float on top spreading the fire. Water will
steam and boil causing an eruption increasing the acceleration of the fire s burning rate if the
flammable liquid is oil or fat. Water being added to a grease fire is a prime example of boiling
eruption. Dilution with just water is not ideal for deep spills because the dilution extinguishment
could take just as long as or longer than using foam. When the nature of the spill is unknown, it is
highly advised to use foam right away to avoid any issues caused by water. Foam is a mass of
bubbles formed from an aqueous solution that is a specially formulated foaming agent. These
bubbles are produced by many different methods. The foam produces an air excluding, cooling,
vapor sealing, water bearing material that immobilizes or inhibits combustion with a continuous
layer over the spill. Deterioration and vaporization of the foam happens when it exposed to heat and
flames. The deterioration and vaporization help contain the heat and spread. Foam is applied to a
fire so that the volume compensates for the deterioration and vaporization along with producing a
residual foam layer. Although foam breaks

Machiavellianism is a type of personality trait in which it is characterized by manipulative behavior,
emotional detachment, and the distrust of others. Usually people who carry this type of personality
trait are good at deceiving/exploiting others as a way of fulfilling their goal(s), as well as self
monitoring their relationships as a form of protection, and have an external oriented way of thinking
difficulty in expressing or explaining feelings to others; focus on external issues/events rather than
internal. Due to the nature of Machiavellianism, it is certain that Machiavellians have an avoidant
attachment style and self perception, since it is typical of this personality type to distrust others and
are very self protective. It is likely

The representation of Alexandria in Lawrence Durrell s Justine In his novel, Justine, Lawrence
Durrell gives his readers a new version of Alexandria, claiming that this is the real city . The novel
would arouse many questions to an Alexandrian reader s mind; does Durrell factually represent the
Cosmopolitan city of the time? Do his characters reflect the kind of life which the Alexandrian
inhabitants had back then? Or is he giving, throughout Justine, a parallel mythical city which he
created out of his imagination? The book clearly reflects Durrell s viewpoint regarding Alexandria;
he exhibits it as an erotic city that enforces a state of total indulgence in sensual pleasures upon its
inhabitants. Moreover, he tackles the city... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Durrell presents two Alexandrias; the Arabic Alexandria which is always related to negative
descriptions and always looked at with resentment and disgust, and the European Alexandria which
comes along with the clean streets and the civilized characters. Durrell exhibits the Arab Quarters
as an undefined mass; he does not name their streets or their cafes; he gives them no identity. In
contrast, the European streets are named, for instance; Rue Foaad, Rue Sherief and Naby Daniel.
The voice of the Arabs is shut; we do not get to see any Egyptian characters except for Nessim,
whom we know lately in the Alexandria Quartet about his national treason; a person who has no
sense of belonging towards Egypt. Nessim also is so westernized; the fact that Nessim s voice is
heard in the novel goes back to his wealthy state and his high social rank that did enable him to
neglect his Egyptian nationality and have a European lifestyle. Hence, Nessim does not represent
the real Egyptian Alexandrian inhabitant of the time. Durrell s claim that only the city is real is
questionable; you cannot write a novel as a representative of Alexandria and its inhabitants while
choosing to foreground only the western voices and background the Arab ones. So Durrell s
colonial ideology is shown in his writing; his tone is racial and biased against the Egyptians.
Moreover, Durrell depicts Muslim Arabs as racist violent people who persecute

The variable age is the independent variable and is of a ratio level of measurement (Loiselle et al.,
2011). The measure of central tendency to describe age in table 1.2 are the mean of 57.62 which is
the average age, the median which is the middle score within the distribution when all scores are
organized of 58.5 and the mode of 58 which is the most frequently occurring age (Loiselle et al.,

The kurtosis has a large negative value which is representative of a flatter curve also know as
playkurtic (Salkind, 2013).
The average deviation of scores from the sample mean is 16.26. In order to calculate if there any
extreme ages, any ages that occurs below 2SD and above +2SD would be considered extreme and
occurs 5 out of 100 cases (Loiselle et al., 2011). Scores that are between 2SD and + 2SD occurs 95
out of 100 cases (Loiselle et al., 2011). At 2SD the value is 25.10 and at +2SD the score is 90.14, in
table 1.2 the minimum age is 22 and the maximum age is 91, therefore, there is an extreme score
which is an age of 22 which is below 2SD (Loiselle et al., 2011). Thus, the median would be the
preferred measures of central tendency to describe the sample as the median is insensitive to
extreme scores (Loiselle et al., 2011).

Dictionary.com defines suspense as a state or condition of mental uncertainty or excitement, as in
awaiting a decision or outcome, usually accompanied by a degree of apprehension or anxiety.
The author Richard Preston uses Foreshadowing, imagery, and flashbacks to create suspense in
his nonfiction book, The Hot Zone. The Hot Zone is about Ebola Zaire, Marburg, and many other
deadly viruses and how they were found. The book also contains stories of research done with the
viruses in hope of finding a cure for this terrible killer. Richard Preston creates or builds up
suspense is through foreshadowing. This scene of the book is right before Nancy Jaax is going
to inspect some monkeys that have died from ebola in the lab. You are responsible for
maintaining your space suit in the same way that a paratrooper is responsible for packing his
own parachute. Perhaps Nancy was in a hurry and did not inspect the space suit as closely as she
should have. (72) While she is performing the autopsies in her space suit she realizes that there is a
tear in her multi layered glove. Nancy also had a cut in that same hand so if any drop of the blood
mixed her death would be certain. She starts running to the shower and the whole time... Show more

                            How Media Affects Society Essay
How The Media Affects Society
The media is undoubtedly a significant and influential aspect in modern day society. As a means of
communication in a world very much advanced in technology, the media touches all types of people
through various forms such as the radio, newspapers, televisions etc. The question remains: what
information is left unbiased and untarnished? The people within society must sort through the many
bits of information fed to them and unfortunately, in most cases, all bits of media is taken as the
whole truth. The ways in which media impacts society to a great extent are through the facts it
chooses to reveal, as recently seen in the case of the Tamil war in Sri Lanka. The tone in which it is
presented such as the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The tone can affect society s view on the situation, resulting in either a positive or negative reaction.
As seen on May 10th when thousands of Tamils met on Toronto s Gardiner Expressway, for almost
4 hours shutting down a key artery in the city s road network. If the media had said, The Tamil
protesters are keeping Torontonians hostage in their own city vs The Tamil protesters are bravely
doing what needs to be done to save their families . This could have resulted in Toronto turning
against the Tamil community and possibly resulting in hate crimes, but instead the tone of the
media was in favour of the protesters. Which has resulted in a positive reaction from Toronto and
the Canadian government. The tone in which the facts are presented by the media, can easily
change the point of view of the consumer, and can have either a positive or negative reaction
regardless of the truth behind the facts. Lastly, the media uses its voice to target certain audiences
for certain reactions. Who can the media target? In the case of Victoria George Pazzano, a 29 year
old woman who suffered a severe asthma attack while on vacation in Mexico became critically ill.
Victoria s family pleaded to the Canadian government and Ontario hospitals to bring her home, but
were continuously told that there were no beds and doctors available to treat in all of Ontario. The
family of Victoria then pleaded there case to the media,
