 Advantages:
focusing on the grammatical rules, memorization of vocabulary and doing
written exercise
 Disadvantages:
Students become extremely teacher-dependent.

 Classroom Adaptation:
To make concepts more clear and Introducing new words, phrases,
and vocabulary also to enhance skills in reading and writing

2. Direct Method

 Advantage:
It lays great emphasis on speaking, the most important skill for
many learners

 Disadvantage:
It does not work systematically on written work and reading
activities

 Classroom Adaptation:
encouraging learners to think and communicate in the new
language from day one.

Good for Beginners: The repetitive nature helps beginners
