Office Order No. 83 of 2025
The competent Authority is pleased to order the promotion of the following official to the
post of Upper Division clerk on Adhoc basis on the recommendation of the Screening Committee
held on 26/06/2025.

The promotion so ordered is in-situ promotion and subsequent posting shall be ordered, if any.
1. The date of promotion is effective from the date on which the official reports for duty.
2. The officials on their promotion as UDC on Ad-hoc basis will be entitled to draw a pay in
the pay Matrix of Rs. 25,500-81,100 (Level 4) of 7th Pay or their existing pay whichever is
higher, pending fixation, if any.
3. The promotion on ad-hoc basis will not bestow upon the ad-hoc promotee any claims for
regular promotion in the grade or eligibility for promotion to the next higher grade. They are
liable to be reverted to lower post at any time without any notice or assigning any reason
thereof. The period of service rendered by them on ad-hoc basis in the promoted grade will
also not count towards seniority in the grade. It is also made clear that the request for
reversion at a later date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
4. It is made clear to the unwilling officials that if they do not accept this promotion, the order
of promotion will be deemed to be cancelled and they will not be considered for promotion
for a period of one year and it may be noted that in case of non-acceptance of this adhoc
promotion, the same would be offered to their junior official. In such an event, their junior
may start drawing higher pay and other benefits, to which the senior official, who has
declined promotion will not be entitled to any relief in future.
5. It is informed that after accepting the ad-hoc promotion, if he/she refuses/decline regular
promotion later on because of the place of posting not being convenient to them, it will be
construed as misconduct and departmental action will be taken against them.
6. The official promoted on ad-hoc basis on regional seniority basis is liable to be reverted at
any time in the event of regular incumbent being posted as per RR either through LDCE or
through DPC as may be ordered by the Competent Authority.
7. The official may intimate willingness or otherwise to accept promotion on ad-hoc basis
immediately.

8. This promotion order is subject to provisions as contained in GOI, DOPT O.M.
3012/11/2016-Estt (Res) dated 10/08/2010, OM No. 36012/11/2016-Estt (Res) dated
30/09/2016 and OM No. 63012/11/2016-Estt(Res-1) (Pt-II) dated 15/06/2018 and further
orders which may be passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court/DOPT instructions/ESIC
Headquarters Office, in matters related to reservation.
Necessary joining report may be forwarded to all concerned.
