Activity 1: Counseling in Real Life (Short Essay)
Direction: Reflect on a situation in your life or someone else’s (you may keep names
confidential) where counseling was needed.
   •   What was the situation about?
   •   How could a counselor help in this case?
   •   What core value or principle of counseling would be most important in that situation?
Output: Write a short essay with 8–10 sentences.
Activity 2: Core Values Match
Direction: Match the core values to the correct descriptions by drawing a line or writing the
letter of the correct match.

You may research online or ask someone you know in that profession.

Activity 4: Poster-Making
Topic: “The Role of Social Workers in Society”
Direction: Make a poster (half-length bond paper) showing the various roles of social
workers like advocate, educator, case manager, or community organizer.
You may use colored pencils, markers, or digital tools. Make it creative and meaningful.
Criteria:
    •   Creativity and originality – 10 pts
    •   Relevance to the topic – 10 pts
    •   Neatness and effort – 5 pts
Activity 5: Letter to a Counselor or Social Worker (Creative Writing)
Direction: Write an open letter addressed to a counselor or social worker.
    •   Thank them for the work they do.
    •   Share how their role has made a difference in your life or in society.
    •   Include at least one value or principle that you admire most about their work.
Minimum of 150 words. You may write it by hand or type it.
