Dear Sirs,

In consideration of your acceptance to carry the Out of Gauge Cargo presented by us under the contract of
carriage, we hereby agree as follows:

1. We hereby certify that the cargo of ______________________ are lashed properly in afore
mentioned container(s) with interlayer of strong/hard timber boards are positioned between each tier,
for the purpose to distribute the cargo weight/pressure evenly.

2. We shall be fully responsible to pay or reimburse any and all consequences including but not limited
to container(s) / vessel damages, costs, loss, liability, penalty/fine, delay and expense caused during
the subject cargo transportation. In the event of any proceedings being commenced against you or
any of your employee, servants, agent or sub-contractors in connection with the foregoing, we hereby
undertake to provide any of you on your demand with sufficient funds to defend the same.

3. In consideration of your acceptance to carry the subject cargo, we undertake to provide on demand
such bail or other security as may be required to prevent any arrest or detention to such vessel or
property or to secure the release of such vessel or property or to remove such interference and to
indemnify you in respect of any liability, loss, damage or expense caused by such arrest or detention
or threatened arrest or detention or such interference, whether or not such arrest or detention or
threatened arrest or detention or such interference may be justified.

4. This Letter of indemnity shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the terms contained
or incorporated in the bill of lading clause between you and us, including but not limited to Law and
Jurisdiction.
